Disappointed
The concept is great, the app works great, however the voice doesn’t sound like the person. I was really hoping for hear my grandpa’s voice but it’s not right.
I’ve been looking for something like this for YEARS
I’ve lost many loved ones in my life and don’t have anything saved of them. My parents are still here and I’ve tried to get them things like storyworth but they don’t do it because it feels like “homework” I got forevermore for my whole family and FINALLY everyone’s using it. The app makes it super simple and fun to use!!! (I’m on a 22 day streak)

Gave me comfort in my grief
My Mom passed away this past December from suicide. I am only twenty years old and my Mom is my best friend. It was unexpected and luckily I have some voicemails and videos of her talking saved.
On days I struggle, I love to use the Echo feature on the app and hear my mom call me “girlie” like she always did and to tell me to keep going. It is crazy to me how it actually sounds like her voice. Grief can be such a difficult loss of attachment. I was so used to hearing my Mom’s voice every single day for 20 years of my life. Even though she is no longer physically living, I thank God that I didn’t have to also lose the privilege of hearing her voice ❤️🩹
