Version 2.0 is a major update for the iPad. You can now pit your ship designs against each other in the new combat simulator. The space combat rules in chapter 10 of the Volume 2 rulebook have been implemented to a high degree. Multiple Battlescreens, computer size, individual crew ratings, and software programs are not considered but their effects are approximated. Ammunition usage is tracked. Each ship added to a scenario is assigned an average crew rating affected by Polity. Star torpedoes home on targets automatically and small craft may be given a rendezvous order to automatically return to their launching ship or to board an enemy ship. An event log lets you review the results as they occur or at the end of the scenario.
