Was hoping it wasn’t so clunky
It’s a decent app, but not sure if I can say it’s worth just typing out LaTeX.
For some reason, trying to type a capital L doesn’t work. It just leaves a “box” where a character should be. A little infuriating when trying to consistently write, say, the definition of the limit.
There needs to be some sort of instructions as to what the paste button does. I’m not really sure what the difference is between the 2nd and 3rd buttons from the left.
That said, it’s probably worth $2 if you are typing advanced math on your phone A LOT.

Issues with ios18
Hello there, very recently bought this, as it seemed to be the most flexible scientific keyboard (allowing for tex file generation as well) - it does not currently work on ios18/18.01 - could the developer please address the issue? Will change rating if the issues are addressed.

Error with Integral
I get an Error with typing integrals o iPadOS 17.5, the upper limit position of the integral shows in the middle and not at the top. In addition Summation Sign is only addable with top and bottom value, just the summation Symbol by itself would be nice. If fixed this app could be very nice and i would be willing to give full stars.

Not working
I activated the keyboard but if i want to engage it, it just flips to the default IOS keyboard. Not working at all. Lost money. Stay away.
Buy with caution
The app does not work on my iPhone. It does work on my iPad. I emailed the developer but got no response.
Just paid and it says to go to settings for keyboard, I did and it’s not working???!!
Either fix the problem or refund my money asap!
Decent but could be improved
Pretty good overall, but missing some characters, for example:
Blackboard bold F - one of the most commonly blackboard bold letters in my opinion
Subscripts - which can be entered using the superscript-and-subscript button but then the superscript has to be deleted
Large open brace for function definition - you can type an open brace but I can't seem to delete the autofilled closed brace, or create multiple lines for the conditional function definition
Also, the ∃ menu seems to be bugged and won't open, I can type ∃ with it but not whatever else is in that menu (presumably things like ∀ and ⇒)
One more thing is that the image outputs could be improved in my opinion.
I think this app would benefit a lot getting allowing more customisability, i.e. offering a huge array of characters which can be substituted into the menus, and with this perhaps also the ability to have variable size menus and even multiple pages of the keyboard to allow for more menus of less commonly used characters.

Great in concept, but would like to see a couple improvements
This is a really great app for conveniently typing equations. I only wish there were a way to type subscripts and capital Greek letters such as Δ, as the app id difficult to use for physics at the moment.
Waste of money
The keyboard does not open at all when I try to switch to it. It glitches out and just puts me back onto the emoji or English keyboard.

Bugs
I'm experiencing some problems with the keyboard. I have tried to change the brightness of the keyboard and the keyboard closes every time I try to display the key menu.
Also when I type long formulas I don't have the possibility to scroll to the sides and see what I am typing :c

Good app—just be aware all these types of keyboards capture your info though. Know this upfront.
Response from developer
Of course there is no need to capture information (meaning: reading from the clipboard). Formalize only ever copies TO the clipboard. That distinction of permissions is currently not offered by Apple though. Formalize cannot and will never read from your clipboard. Only the content you type into it.
Promising
After pasting an equation, how do you change what gets pasted? So far, the same equation gets pasted again and again.

Delete the previous equation, type a new one and hit the copy button again.
