Kind of a pain
I’d rather just enter everything into a spreadsheet and not have to worry about filling out all these new fields and learning the quirks of a new app
Love Formulair!
I am just starting on my perfumery journey but I am finding this app so useful. I look forward to continuing to use it to build formulas and keep myself organized. Thanks!
Nice start but lacking a proper feature set - seems it is no longer being developed
This is a great start but for the $40 I paid for it, and seeing there is no update for 1.5 years now, I’m a bit disappointed.
There is no way to batch edit multiple items, which seems like a core feature when working with so many materials. The material import is extremely basic. If you get the import wrong, your only recourse is to manually edit every item one by one or delete the app, clear your cache, and start over entirely - this isn’t acceptable in my opinion. The fact you can’t even reset your library without deleting the entire app is an oversight.
Again, it’s a good start but it’s surprisingly lacking. I don’t think it is worth the money they’re asking as it is now.

Perfume artist’s best friend
I can’t thank you enough for making this app! It’s everything I need.
Excellent app
Really great app. Use it constantly.
2 suggestions.
I want to be able to copy images into the notes fields. I wanna put the little molecule diagrams or just a photo that matches the smell to me. Especially for the materials with the arcane chemical names.
The second is less important, but I wish there was a place to make general notes that wasn’t necessarily attached to a material or formula. I know I can just use my notes app for that, and I do, but it would be nice to have it all in one place, so to speak.
