Great app for musicians ear training
This app is so flexible and the sound quality is so good that it is ideal for ear training. Just configure it to the difficulty you need and let it generate melodies for dictation. Use the melody edit function to play and loop a bar. You check the sounds against the edit grid. Perfect.

The latest lock chords mode is useful, but what is needed is an option to tie notes together, thus sustaining duration. Add AU3 and Landscape mode, and this would be worth at least five times the initial cost.

Cool app
Some features Iād like to see. The ability for the app to keep playing when you change notes and chords. Iād like to see what the note names are on the editor. Perhaps the ability to program a sustained note. The ability to change octave in editor.

Great sounds and fairly easy 2 octave melody range and extremely easy to edit. I would suggest expanding the bar limit. Perhaps up to 8 or 16 instead of just 4 and on the melody editor I would suggest to shade it like the piano keys to help locate the octave notes easier. Other than that I love it!

Not quite there yet...
TLDR: the generator component of this app works quite well. However the rest of the app is pretty rough around the edges.
Problems:
- ui is horrible
- midi integration is terrible, painful to use
- menu layouts is very poor, requires way too much tapping, doesnāt implement swipe controls
- auditioning and changing built in instruments is painful
Bottom line, until proper midi support is implemented and ui experience is fixed, do not buy.

Very limited for Ā£4.99
A nicely packaged app, but the quality of the output is very limited, and gives only basic chord sequences with very ācomputer generatedā sounding melodies. Thereās no way to provide input into the generation, and youāre completely locked to diatonic chords and melody. There are a lot better tools out there.

Midi out rules
Really nice UI that works well on my iPhone and the new MIDI out means this is about to get a lot more use from me. Only thing I can think to improve is being able to change the order of the four note sequence windows. Thanks to the dev for continuing to add features to this very affordable generative tool.

Bring over the native iPad Pro 12.9 resolution already. I export melodies and chord structure into Cubasis2 all the time. KEEP UP THE FANTASTIC WORK!! LOVE this latest update with the ability to edit/recall saved projects!
Tried all the rest, this is the best!
I have found this app particularly helpful when I land in a āprogression rutā or just need a nudge in a different direction. Super clean UI holding a rather flexible set of configurable parameters, making it by far the most customizable AND easy to use generative app Iāve come across. Could use a bit more of a instrument selection although I have grown fond of the pads.
I probably havenāt done more than star and app in 2 years, but I feel compelled to shout out the dev for an awesome, well thought out and awesome tool. Thanx guise!

Exactly what Iāve been looking for
It took me a long time to find an app like this, I donāt know where it was hiding but it should certainly have a higher profile than it does.
This is really a brilliant way to write music for those who arenāt super comfortable with music theory and a great way to get some inspiration for those who are. Just randomly generate a melody (and accompanying chords) and you instantly have what is, more often than not, a brilliant starting point for you to flesh out and add your own touch.
While this app is fantastic as it is, I sincerely urge the developers to continue to work on it and Iām sure they could easily justify an increase in the price to reward their efforts, excellent job so far.

Almost Perfect
I really like this app, itās a wonderful āon the goā songwriting tool! Fingers crossed that it gets enough traffic to add additional time signatures. Overall highly recommended and hope it brings inspiration to fellow songwriters out there!
