Hard work
Bad user experience for connections handling!
fix plz..
where is popup for MFA code?
Works like a charm!
I would say that if you can’t connect, try enabling “Single sign on” when setting it up. Whenever I normally sign in thru forticlient I am redirected and once I enabled that and tried again, I got my redirect on my phone and was able to sign in like normal

No 2FA allowed for IPSEC VPN connections
Out of date; you get what you pay for
If you absolutely need VPN on iOS consider a different solution than FortiGate. Clearly a modern working iOS client is not a priority for Fortinet.

When this issue is discovered, the login popup appears twice when trying to connect and then second login popup disappears immediately.

VPN will not successfully pass traffic and shows disconnected but the devices will continue to have no data capability until forticlient app is closed and swiped away from the background. Sometimes required a reboot of the device as well.
This has been confirmed across Reddit and several other North American forums as a wide spread issue but so far 1 week later there has been no update pushed.
Considering we pay a lot for my firewall licensing and 400 forticlient ems licenses it really feels like a slap in the face to be ham stringed by the free “We’ll fix it when we get to it” app for our corporate mobile devices..
I am anxiously awaiting the update so my execs can do their time approvals and such on the road…
I know that Fortinet ain’t Cisco and doesn’t claim to be. And doesn’t have the infinite R&D budget Cisco does…
but between the windows VPN app that gets hung up if adobe acrobat saves personal certificates, which made me have to pay for 400 licenses for EMS…. and the mobile app that breaks or wipes out saved connections every other update I’m starting to get fed up..
if other small companies can do better with their releases there’s no reason Fortinet can’t either.
