Just stay away from it
I’ve been trying to get this app to work for at least 10 years. It doesn’t. Guys, stop trying to claim you’ve made an iOS soft phone for fortivoice that works from a mobile network or 3rd party ip network, because you haven’t. And I dare say, I doubt you ever will.
Terrible
I have no clue why my company wants us to use this app. It is by far the absolute worst app I have ever used. Never works.

Every single fve update breaks incoming call notifications.

Frequently have take steps to get the app to allow incoming and outgoing calls. Sometimes the only solution is to reinstall the app. That should not be necessary. Can’t have the desk phone plugged in and have the app work. Great concept, but needs some work.
Bugs all the time
Unable to receive call, always crash. Even if bugs are reported nobody knows why it occurs and how to fix it. It's been 9 months since we started to use it and it's a big waste of time and money.
DO NOT INVEST/TRUST YOUR BUSINESS WITH THIS APP
If you are trying to find an app for your company/business then do not use this horrible app.

Find a different app
This app… my goodness! Its so bad when it comes to actual connectivity and useful ability. There are way better options in this market than fortifone. If your company is thinking about using this app have them read this review… If you want to deal with phone calls failing get this app If you want to deal with setups that dont work for 3 weeks leading up until the entire company signs up for the app, this app is for you If you love. pain get this app Have a great day fortifone

Stop Breaking The App
This app is great when it works. Allows our people to work from home or on the road and still make and take calls like they’re in the office. Seems like every single time there’s an app update it breaks inbound calling to the app. About a week ago after the app update inbound calling to the app stopped working yet again. I also updated our FortiVoice to the latest version and it still doesn’t work. Please, please, please stop breaking this app, seriously. People use this for business operations.

Phone won’t ring.
Phone won’t ring on incoming calls and support link on app leads to customer support with no ability to assist with the app. ???
No scheduling
No ability for end user to schedule the app on or off. Hourly employees cannot use this app otherwise we have to compensate them for the calls received. If they hit DND they have to remember to turn off DND, which causes issues of not being able to reach them.
Most recent update broke it
Currently, incoming calls are silent. You have to call back to get any audio. I believe this started happening since the most recent iOS update.
No sound on my phone
I am running FortiVoice behind a Fortigate. When I make calls the call is picked up. However I cannot hear them and they cannot hear me.
Buggy
For instance... I answer a call from another extension and the microphone doesn't work. Other party says they can't hear me. Press the mute button... The unmute and now the microphone is working.
Just one of too many bugs I'm dealing with. Most users can even sign in on their phone.

Now I can have an extension created for my iPhone and receive my work calls without giving out my personal phone number.
