Useless: no audio
This app produces no audio on my iPad, nor my iPhone, which makes the app useless.
The app's support link leads to a nonexistent page on the developers' website. (This is the link from the "App Support" button on the app's page in the Apple App Store.)
In case the developers read this review:
- I'm using Forvo Pronunciation version 4.2.2. No sound is produced when I click on the "Play" button for any word.
- In contrast, the website at forvo.com works fine: every "Play" button produces audio.
- My iPad Pro 12.9", 5th-generation, is running iPadOS 26.5.
- My iPhone 15 is running iOS 26.5.

Doesn’t work
I don’t know why but the basic play button on a pronunciation word doesn’t do anything. You press it, it goes around in circles and then stops. No sound. Surely this is the first thing that should be checked. I’m on iOS 26.4 iPhone 17 pro
Buggy and needs work
Fantastic idea for an app but the app itself is buggy as hell
No longer usable
I used to love this app but after not opening it in awhile I tried to use it recently and it won’t play any sound clips. I can search and find words but when I click the play icon it spins like it’s loading then doesn’t do anything. iPhone 15, iOS 26.3.1 (a).
Paid for this and it DOES NOT EVEN WORK
It used to freeze 99% of the time, rendering it mostly useless and already not worth having paid for it, but at least the 1% of the time it worked it was useful. Yet as of the last update it literally no longer works, period. I search a word and nothing comes up. What the hell. I want my money back immediately. What a scam!

App crashing
The app keeps crashing which is really frustrating especially when you are paying for it.
A great app, when it works
I love this app, but it seems to freeze constantly. 80% of the time I have to go to the website because the app freezes up. I’m lucky if I can get one look up before it freezes and if I paste something into the search or my phone autocorrects, forget it. Frozen. It’s a shame because it’s a great resource.

Can I give it less than 1 star?
Downloaded app, attempted to sign up, says that the United States is not a valid country. Keeps glitching on the terms and conditions. Good thing it’s only $2.99. Good riddance.
Does this even work on iPad?
I am unable to get this to open. All I get is a blank page. I am not able find any settings or instructions either. Not at all user friendly.

Was setting up app and it froze. Eventually deleted app and downloaded again. Still frozen after signing in.

Froze on my iPhone
It froze on my iPhone SE 2 a lot. Other than that, very good app

I am unable to search for anything without being logged in, but I get a blank screen every time I login.

Crashes and won’t post recordings
Using iOS 26, the app crashes frequently and will not accept recordings I’ve made using the app.
The system always crushes
Whenever I type in anything, anything, the system automatically crashes. And it repeated over a dozen times. I simply cannot do anything with this app!!!
Terrible app
I would not download this app. It freezes every time you open it and there is no way to fix it
