Didn’t open!
Waste of time and money. Couldn’t even open it and the support is nonexistent. The synaptic edge support doesn’t open!
Stopped working.
The app needs updated. It shuts down as soon as I launch it on iPhone 12 mini. Tried deleting and reinstalling. Still doesn’t work. Wasted money.
Still works in 2024.

I wish that they will make an Android version of this app. It’s the only app that worked great with my old cameras.
Doesn’t work
Maybe doesn’t work isn’t fully correct, it works for my wife, but not for me. Same exact settings. Emailed support but they never responded. I say if you’re going to spend money on cameras invest in ones that you can actually use, these Foscam’s have absolutely no value to me.
Many features, good app
This Foscam app is the better app out of all the other available apps for Foscam cameras. It has a lot of features that other apps do not have. Full control over your cameras picture settings and viewing experience. Also pretty reliable for remote connection to cameras which is something most people would value a lot in a camera app. The only issue I’ve encountered is for some reason on my iPad Pro, 2016 model, with latest iOS, the app crashes after 10 secs of use. Sometimes even quicker. And sometimes it would go 2,3-5 minutes before crashing. My friend has the latest IPad Pro, 2019 model, and he has exact same issue as well. I have an iPad mini 3 and an older iPhone, running iOS 10.3.3 and the app is rock solid on both devices, never crashes. Not such an issue for me as I use my other devices for viewing, but take note, if you have just one or two devices running latest iOS, you may get a bit frustrated with this app always crashing.

Gone to the dogs
We use our Foscams to monitor the dogs in our kennel area (we train service dogs). This app makes it easy for us to check on them at all times...as long as our terrible Frontier Communications Internet is actually working.

I had some problems when I got the Foscam 9821, my second camera. I was really pleased to see the improvements after you updated your app. I thought it was the camera causing the problems. I was even thinking of getting another older model. Nothing was working right. Now, everything is perfect again. This was truly a pleasant surprise. What a difference good software makes. Thanks for continuing to make your product the best. 6/3/20 thank you whoever is responsible for putting this app back in the App Store. After I got a new iPad, I couldn’t download this even after contacting Apple support. I knew it worked with the current iOS. I tried unsuccessfully to get it back, but it wouldn’t let me. I love this useful app and use it all the time.

Works but very buggy and slow

No longer able to record video/photo
This used to be a very effective app for recording content but since using on new devices since iOS 12.xx it is not possible to grant permission to access camera roll. No replies to support and the app has not been updated for 3 years. Don’t part with your money until this is fixed.
