It’s genuinely fine,nothings wrong with the app it just asks u for money(subscriptions) here and there and it’s limited for non pay people but,it’s fine for me.

This app seems to be very Accurate and correct but the problem is I can’t use for free I’m give this an honest review if you made it free use plenty more would like this I used it on 2 of my fossils and made use membership in order to use

Beware! No refunds!!!Very disappointed
I found this app to be very disappointing. I have very obvious and easily obtainable fossils that I used to “test” the app on the day I purchased it. Results didn’t even begin to identify them correctly. I tried to delete the subscription, which is allowed but NO REFUND!!! That’s probably why it didn’t offer a free seven day trial like many other apps do.

Inaccurate
It couldn’t even identify my douvillina or mucrospirifer. It said they were meteorites. Basic brachipods and this app couldn’t figure it out. You also can’t attach your own photos to your collection. It just gives random stock images.

I purchased a week’s worth of premium for $3.99 to try it out, and the best match it gave me for a shark tooth was “trilobite.” The other matches were shark teeth, but included incorrect species. Other identifications also lacked accuracy.
I was hoping to use the app to catalog my finds more quickly for a permit renewal, but the results are just too inaccurate and limited. It is fun, and I hope the database improves through member contribution, but it won’t help serious amateurs at this time, July 2025.
