Fotologue

Fotologue turns the box of family photos into a library you can browse by year and place, on iPhone and iPad. SCAN WITH THE SCANNER YOU ALREADY HAVE Put several prints on the glass and tap Scan the Fronts. Fotologue finds each print and saves it as its own photo. It works over Wi-Fi with AirPrint scanners, like the Epson EcoTank series, with no cables or drivers. Choose 300, 600 or 1200 dpi. KEEP THE STORIES ON THE BACK Flip the prints and tap Scan the Backs. Fotologue matches each back to its front and reads the handwriting on your device, so "Havana, summer 1958" stays with its photo and 1958 is suggested as its year. Tap Turn Over any time to see the back. BROWSE BY YEAR AND PLACE Your photos are grouped by year and by place, so finding Grandma's garden in 1987 takes seconds. Add a place, notes and the year as you go, and search everything, including the writing on the backs. No Year Yet and Backs to Check show what still needs a look. ONE FAMILY LIBRARY Invite family through iCloud to a Family Library you all add to. Your photos and the family's show up together in Years and Places, or switch to Family Library or Just Mine. Give each person Can Add & Edit or View Only, see who has joined, and move any photo into the Family Library when you're ready to share it. YOUR PHOTOS STAY YOURS - Your library is kept as ordinary image files in your own iCloud Drive, with the year, place and notes saved inside each file, so it opens on any computer. - Want them in Apple Photos too? Turn on "Add New Scans to Photos", or select a few and tap Share > Add to Photos. They're dated by the year they were taken and kept in their own "Fotologue" album. - Share photos by AirDrop, Messages, Mail or Save to Files, fronts only or with their backs, as JPEG, HEIC, PNG or TIFF. - Deleted photos wait in Recently Deleted for 30 days. - Everything is processed on your device. No account, no ads. TRY IT FREE Your first 10 scans are free, and backs never count. Fotologue Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited scanning, shared with your family through Family Sharing. No subscription. Browsing, details, sharing and the Family Library stay free either way.
