Good but could be more functional
I bought this app reluctantly knowing it wouldn’t have the same functionality of the CC memory work CDs that I’ve used for over 10 years.
My one BIG request if that there would be in update made to this app to reorganize the material into a weekly format, not just a subject format. The format of the memory work CDs had both formats: weekly & by subject. It seems a tremendous oversight not to duplicate those 2 options in the app! And if you make that fix, please add the Timeline song (in its entirety)! Mastery of these facts is hindered, not helped, by the clumsy design and organization of the material.
The price for this app is high compared to the quality of function. I’ve never paid $10 for any app, except this one.

Extremely basic. Better off using CC connected
This could work for someone who is not already part of a CC community and wants to do CC at home. But if you already pay to be in a CC community you’re better off using the CC connected website. This app is not intuitive, and if you want to go to a specific week you have to start at week one and skip until you get to the week you’re trying to review. The timeline song is not available in this app. CC needs to have an app for CC connected, especially when they’re already charging families over $100 a year to have access to it. It’s a bummer that with the CC founder being an air space engineer the quality of the technology tools offered is pretty poor.

A Great Resource…. Which is STILL Missing Key Features
I’ll start by saying that, really, this has been a great resource overall. I saw complaints about price. It took me awhile to pull the trigger. But I finally reconciled that I have NO problems purchasing other resources for our schooling, and this is absolutely a tool. It keeps things simples on days when we just need basic. Graphics are beautiful, Weeks and Subjects are easy to access etc.
HOWEVER - and yes this is a 2-Star issue!!
Having to log in to CC Connected, and scroll down to the wee, and scroll down to the right link each week for Timeline can really put a wrench in things.
The weeks are available on YouTube for heaven’s sake. Why would we who pay to have this resource not have available one of the most Foundational (pun intended) aspects of a CC education - THE TIMELINE SONG.
I conclude that, even if it’s just by week, it’s really missing.
Would I recommend this? Well… I mean, to myself.
(For context I have 3 kiddos under 5, so we’re doing more listening than sitting/reading etc. Also, we’re in the go quite a bit.)

Use it frequently!
This app is very helpful for our family. The biggest drawback is that is does not have the Timeline Song or the President’s Song on the app. That would really help me as a tutor and a mom.

Wish there was a view of the whole 24 weeks
I just got this app because I can’t stand cc connected. But after getting this app, they are both as equally irritating. The cd’s, which we’re discontinued, had everything so easily at you fingertips, (but not glued, along with your eyes, to a screen) to play the whole week through. This swiping left 13 or 15 times to get the current week you’re in is no good! Bring back the cd’s!

Great but would like to have the timeline song included
Love this app! My kids use it all the time, it’s mobile, and convenient. My only complaint, it doesn’t have the timeline song. CC, please add the timeline song to the Apps!!
Room for improvement!
Need to divide out the history sentence from history song!! Also need to make more user friendly and give option to scroll through weeks easier. Goes without saying, but should have timeline song by weeks, and doesn’t.

I purchased the cycle 3 app since the audio CD’s are out of stock. I much prefer the audio CD because it contains the songs. The app does not even have the timeline song. It also only has the song for history. I appreciate the visuals on the app. PLEASE add the timeline song and other subject songs!

Not worth the money, YouTube is free
This was not worth $10. It’s very boring, and basic. Kind of like someone is just reading it off a page. It’s not engaging at all. The Homeschool Helper on YouTube is a way better resource and it’s free. Sometimes it feels like CC nickel and dimes you.
Waste of money.
$10 and the songs aren’t on the app. So what’s the point? It seems like a rip- off.
It’s not what I expected.
I downloaded cycle 3 and the whole thing was just only play math, nothing else like the picture shows.

Not the songs. Very robotic and boring
We were disappointed. I thought this was the songs. A friend referred it, but apparently this is the wrong app. How do we cancel and get a refund? Not a horrible app, just not for us.
New to have all the songs
Is an ok app for the price I was expecting more. I downloaded because I thought all t songs were incorporated like the cds. But they are no. Timeline is just reading and the cards.
Hugely disappointing
Fifteen dollars?!?! I assumed I was getting something more than the exact content on the cd set I already own. Please update this app to have a test/quiz option, all of the songs, etc. The only reason I bought this was to help my kids with Memory Master prep but this literally just gives them the answers. There is no way to even use it to test their memory. Very, very, very annoyed that I just spent $15 dollars on this. I should have read the reviews first.

Fantastic!!
I don’t know why there’s some bad reviews, this is so great to have in hand! I’m a tutor and use it both in class and at home with my own kids. It’s nice to have on hand to pull out at home, the doctor office, the car, airplane, etc. We love it!
Needs the songs!!
The app is good but could be great if it would just include the timeline, geography, and John songs. So confused why these aren’t included when they are SO awesome, useful, and loved. Shouldn’t have to have the app AND the audio cds.

I am a kid in cc and I don’t like that the app doesn’t have any fun stuff. So my thoughts are add where you fill in the blanks in history, or latin. Just a thought 😏
Maybe not what I was hoping
I think for the price, I was hoping that the music was included with each subject, not just math. My kids connect so well with the songs that go with each subject. Just a little pricey for what it is.
