This app seems really great in all but I can’t even get into the app it just stays there and loads forever and I have full bars and then I tried using just my data but that didn’t work either so I don’t know what’s going on but I need help

Total rip-off

It is a total rip-off! Every time you go to watch a video it is locked and it says you have to pay to watch it! If I were you I would save your time and not get it.

The content in the app isn’t free; however, it’s only $4.99/month to access ALL videos. There are some free videos in the app to give you an idea of the type of content you would be getting to help you determine if you want to purchase. Not being free doesn’t make it a rip off. In fact, when you consider that you can access over 100 videos for $4.99/month or $50/year and the cost of a one hour lesson is $65-100, this is an amazing deal. We’re sorry you don’t feel like you should have to pay for premium content.

Okay if your not a setter

There were barely any videos available, and I play setter, that weren’t only available in the upgraded version. I a very large majority of the videos were either for upgraded accounts or for positions other than setter.
The app was well organized and everything was easy to find, I’m just not one for paying just so I can see videos for my position. Even though the price is low, only about $5 a month/$50 a year, I don’t have the money.

HORRIBLE!

I downloaded this app thinking it was very cool, me and my friend have been in to Volleyball so we wanted to try it out. We logged on , and every thing was fine, then we tried to make the video. It didn’t work. We made it and it would just take us out of the app.Then we tried getting back in, and it wouldn’t let us in. HORRIBLE!! 😡

Great!

Truly a great way to let coaches and players communicate, and really helped me to get better! Each video goes so in depth, while still being straight forward and easy to learn. You can focus on larger areas of improvement in general, or go specifically to a tiny step in your approach. Definitely recommend!

Issues with payment

I love the app concept and the structure of the videos, but whenever I try to subscribe to the paid service a loading wheel comes up and never stops. I would love to access the amazing content but it is not currently possible.

We are pushing an update that will make it compatible with the most recent iOS. The iOS update broke our subscription functionality and we’ve been working to fix it as quickly as we can. Thanks for the patience.

Technical difficulties at first

The coaching is pretty cool because they can slow down the video and show exactly what you're doing and give advice. There is an indoor volleyball emphasis on the coaching but I do feel it was good quality.

I uploaded a video for coaching and the app crashed and charged me. A couple weeks after emailing their support they eventually got back to me for a coaching session. It was a hassle but I really like this idea and hope they can grow as a company.

If you’re looking for ways to grow your game and become a better volleyball player, Four Athletes has exactly what you need! Easy to understand videos and demonstrations of all aspects of the game, plus so many other features... I could not ask for more!

Best athletic investment I’ve ever made

I’ve spent thousands of dollars on private lessons, camps, clinics, and travel to help develop my skills. Unfortunately, without drilling down into video of each of my movements, I was only able to improve moderately.

Four Athletes is the future of athletic development: incredible content, holistic approach to life and sport, professional assessment, and personalized coaching to help pinpoint even the most nuanced aspect of my game. I’ve been a client for 6 months now and I’ve never seen this level of growth to my game.

Not the best

This app would be great if there wasn’t so many videos that you need to pay to unlock. The only videos unlocked are more of the common sense videos that can be found elsewhere. Great idea for the app but I do not recommend paying for an upgrade when a google search will work for free.

This is custom content that represents our many years of coaching and playing experience at the highest levels of the game. Just like a lesson or a camp, we charge for this proprietary content so that we can continue to take on the cost of making high quality videos for the entire volleyball community. The cost is only $4.99/month which is less than $1 per new video (we publish 10 or more new videos every month), compared to $100 or more dollars that you would have to spend for a private lesson or at a camp.

Good app

This is honestly a great app I love the idea and all of the benefits it gives you. The only thing that is a make or break for me is upgrading. To watch a different video on maybe a more important skill I have to upgrade and probably start paying money. I think that is unnecessary and I should be able to see all of the videos for free. This completely ruins the app for me. If they would make that change, I think there would be more downloads and more people would get actual use out of this app.

To get this level of training you would have to pay at least $100 for a one hour lesson. We understand that this is a lot, and part of why we developed this app was to provide elite training to everyone in the world and to do it cost effectively. The app is only $4.99/month or $49/year and we publish 10+ new videos per month. If you look at just the videos we have in there now and don't add the new content we develop every month, that works out to less than 50 cents per video. We wish you the best in your volleyball pursuits.

This app is such a help when you need help with a specific “action” in volleyball. Also, the personal coaching seems out of this world! I want to try it sometime! This app can help you with anything, from serving to just rotations on the court! Definitely a 10/5 star rating for me!!
