Novelty at best
As someone who finds hundreds of four leaf clovers every year, I was mildly amused when I decided to try this where I could very obviously see a huge four leaf clover. When scanning a spot about 2ft square with a 2” diameter four leaf clearly visible, the app detected a three leaf with a 61% probability not more than 8” away from the actual four leaf that it didn’t recognize.

It does work
You have to be patient. Treat it like a game. You’ll get quite a few false positives, that’s to be expected with how uniform patches of clover look. But the app allows you to zoom in and examine the matches quickly, so you can retake pictures rapidly. Overcast days work better, and also getting close to the ground.

Very helpful for finding rare clovers in one shot use it it’s great!
Does not seem to work or be useful
There seems to be no way to change modes or anything. What seems like “live mode” never detects anything at all. In picture mode, you take a picture, it shows you its guesses, but then it does not keep showing you the selection when you go back to live mode , so you cannot find the clover it indicated. Seems like a missed opportunity. I can’t figure out how to make this app actually useful.

Done the Update for Camera access stability improved
