Too many ads
There are so many ads in this app. When reading an article you start reading the adds as they seamlessly look like they could be part of the article. Also if your looking for the most up to date information better off looking on their social media accounts.
Real Milwaukee
Good morning I would just like to say I watch Real Milwaukee religiously I don’t ever miss it. But it has gotten to the point of having a hard time watching it I’ve watched it for years an struggling to watch it now because of that news anchor Nikola she talks to much an seems to not give other anchor’s a chance sometimes it’s like she runs the show. I love fox 6 it’s the only reason I watch tv but she needs to slow down!! Not trying to be mean but it’s just to much!!!

Review
The app is great when it works. I try to watch the 9pm newscast nightly to support local news but the fox 6 east coast news is always airing over it. It causes me to miss the start of the show and sometimes mke fox 6 local news doesn’t even come on when using the app.
New app 10x worse - click bait + errors

“TRENDING” links on pages are old old old. They rarely change for months. I just read 2 articles and saw 3 obvious spelling errors. No way to contact the station besides calling or emailing. And the ads are possibly more intrusive than when I wrote my first review several years ago (below)

Often only the first 1-2 paragraphs of an article appear, and photos shown on the opening page aren’t in the actual article. Between that and the unbelievable amount garbage click-bait ads, the app is almost useless. The amount of spelling errors and other mistakes is atrocious. There used to be a link where you could tell someone of an error - that’s gone with this new, gigantic-ly corporate, non-local app. What is the point of this? To inform the local public about anything at all, or just to make money from crap ads about fake things? Milwaukee needs good people, good reporting, good anything. This app is basically useless.

Fox 6 Is THE BEST
Great out but we have a suggestion of Come binding the Fox 6 Storm Center and the Fox Six news app into one. Other than that they are the best in southeastern WI.
Decent news coverage, annoying plea to enable ad tracking
Fox 6's news coverage is about equal to the other Milwaukee area news stations, the app runs better than WISN 12's, and the ads aren't too bad, just regular local news stuff. However, if you have ad tracking disabled, it asks you to re-enable it every time you open the app. Not a deal breaker, but man it's annoying for those of us who want to preserve their privacy.

Yeah, horrible
You will like this upgrade if you like ads and ads disguised as “sponsored content”. As you scroll down, stories that apparently they really, really want you to read repeat (this was also a problem with the old app). Does anybody actually click on the ads, other than accidentally? Sad at what that media’s attempt to share the “news” has turned into.

Outdated News
This app should reflect only current news, not news from many days ago. Create a news archive if you want to keep the stories. Example, there are multiple headlines of “Covid Cases and Deaths”, sometimes right above or below the other one with no date on them until you open the news item.
Glitchy videos
The same two Chevy and aurora commercials are played at the beginning of each video which are very glitchy most of the time, some freeze up at the very beginning and if you refresh you need to view the same commercial again before it freezes up again
Good info, bad watch live link
The app is great and has a lot of info. While watching live though it will cut out and go to traffic cams. Everyday when the sports segment comes on (it happens other times but never fails on sports segments) the news cuts out and it’s back to traffic cams. Then you have to close the app and reopen it and it MIGHT work again. I only get to watch the news for about 10 minutes now before I just give up.

Fox 6 news app on my phone
On Monday I’m reading about different locations for various shootings in Milwaukee. One location was listed as Monroe and Western. That’s impossible. I think you need to do a better job of rereading or proofreading the news stories

I only watch Fox 6. Nice, Down to earth staff to start your day off or anytime. I like the weather reports. Seem to be more accurate towards my location.
Why Traffic Cams Pop Up during Live News? .
Why does the live traffic cams pop up during or even before the live coverage and stay there and the News never appear. It never comes on.
App always crashes
I receive alerts, once I click on it- it crashes .
Never takes you to the news . They a promoting the app on the TV but it does not seem to be managed .

Don’t change stories
Need to update stories more often. It is 10/1 and I am still looking at a story from 9/11 with a picture of a parade float that wasn’t such a good idea to start with.
Meh...
Trying showing some better pictures along with the super brief , barely one paragraph articles. Also ads inhibit app functionality to the point where you just want to close the app. JUNK.
Terrible
The old app was so much better. According to most of the reviews, I am not the only one who thinks this. Nothing has changed with this app since it was created. No new news stories, can’t search for older stories, same stories when you scroll the app.

Watch Live
I use the app because I no longer get reception to watch Fox 6 news where I live. However, the live news is often interrupted with 511 live feed or with commercials. Right in the middle of the live news. I’d like to say this is new. However, I have been experiencing these issues for over 5 years. Not positive If the app is causing this or if it’s human error. Though since it’s happening in the app I’m rating this app with a 1 star. Love the news. Cant stand the app.

Junk notifications
This app used to send notifications of actual news items. Now I have alerts asking me “how many pillows do you use?” and “how close is too close when driving?” I’m deleting it and looking for a better news app.
Perfect App for those who enjoy trivial news updates
If I had a nickel for every push alert I received from this app, I’d be upgrading iPhones on a bimonthly basis. Seriously. There appears to be no editorial oversight on the “newsworthiness” of their push alerts. News alerts have ranged from covering the serious/important (like an active shooter situation or a declared winner for an important government office) to the completely non-important. This app is annoying and I’m getting rid of it.
