Disappointing version change
1) in previous versions there was Closed Captioning for the video. A Closed Captioning option does not appear anywhere, nor is there any reference to it in the help section.
2)the base map can be changed in the full map view, but that change does not transfer to the small view on the Home Screen.

Good forecasts and radar. Needs widgets
The ads are as annoying as any other free weather app. The main things I use in it are the forecasts and radar. BUT if it had widgets it'd be a game changer. I'd be using it instead of the weather channel app.
Worst weather app on the planet
Currently your app shows Dripping Springs Tx as being in a severe Thunderstorm, showing red on your interactive radar. Dripping Springs has blue skies currently.

Worthless, just gives current weather stats
This app is completely worthless, it just gives the current weather stats. No most recent video forecast, no weather radar. No point. Removing app.
In and out
When I first started using this app all was cool. For a while now your radar screen has been going in and out in and out and sometimes out for a long time??? or when I am viewing it, it fades in and out, in and out. Come on guys get your act together. I do hope that this is corrected soon or I will have to find another weather app.

Annoying Ads, More Accurate Weather
The ads are really in your face on this app, which is why I give it only 3 stars. I can barely stand to look at it. I’d give it at least 4 stars for weather accuracy, though.
I have another local Austin weather app and in side-by-side comparisons find the forecasts to be more accurate on this app. This WAPP called for 100% rain and it indeed poured. The competition called for only 30% rain. On the other hand, the competition’s ads are on a subtle banner across the top of the screen, which is so much nicer.
I would happily pay for a subscription to be free of the annoying ads in this app.

Waiting for Weather
If you want an updated weather forecast on the weekends you’d better wait until Monday morning and just watch the live show. I checked this morning (Sunday) for a forecast and the latest one available was from 13 hours prior. Just for reference it’s approximately 8:30 on Sunday morning when I write this. The broadcast had been on from 6am to 8am. No morning forecast pushed to the app so those of us who don’t like to get up at ungodly hours can see the outlook.

Bogus Location Information
The app keeps adding Andover, MA as my default location no matter how many times I remove it. App is set to follow me. To fix it, I have to uninstall the app and reinstall it. No other weather or news app does that on my iPhone.
Weather reports often a day old
Fox 7 frequently on the weekend reports the prior day weather broadcast. I’ve repeatedly brought this to their attention but they either have a quality control problem or don’t care.
It’s hard to rely on them during an emergency weather situation if the data is old.

Video has not been working for several days now
I like to watch the latest weather report video when the 9pm news is preempted, but for several days now it is not working. I keep checking for an update to fix this problem but no luck so far. Does anyone actually check this app?
Change the name...
Given the current cultural understanding of the acronym WAP I would strongly encourage a name change. Also the ads are ridiculous and the app is trash

While the layout is great, I’m disappointed in the forecast temps. If you look at the posted 7-10 forecast, it it always off (too low) by around 5 degrees. It doesn’t even match up with the live forecast if you scroll down... makes it difficult as it will say 88 high today but even your weatherman says 93... I think KXAN is much more accurate

Failure to launch
Fails to load about 60% of the time for all users I know have it.
Too slow
Lots of good info, but this app is very slow to open. I’m going back to my Weather Channel app until this is improved.

This is actually a great app if you don’t mind the ads.

I am a fan of the Fox weather team so I downloaded this app. In our first storm where there was a severe thunderstorm warning the red, warning area covered the radar map and you couldn’t see the radar! Ummm...unhelpful!!! Also it is not intuitive as to how to remove the warning from the map, nor are the radar layers. There should be some set up tiles when you first open it to show all of the features and how to use them. Rework the app and maybe I will try again.
