Deleting App. Disappointing.
Why change what worked?
Yet another Update needed: After updating to commend the improved changes, I am once again only giving 3 stars because for whatever reason, when in the app I am unable to simply read a news article. I have to sit through a long ad and then watch and listen to an anchor or reporter tell me the information. I just want to read online like a normal news app should allow. Not sure why this is but please give me the option to read and not be forced to watch an ad and a video. Thank you.

The new app update was the worst. Prefer the older version for sure. Soooooo many ads I would delete the app so fast if it wasn’t for the weather updates

Thank you SO much for changing the Fox Carolina app so when using an iPad I don’t have to turn it to portrait mode anymore! 5 stars now as I can keep reading in landscape mode.

I used to really like the Fox Carolina News app until all the changes were made. Everything is smaller, harder to find and read. But the biggest disappointment is the fact that the only way for this app to be read on an iPad is in portrait mode. I always have the iPad in landscape mode with an attached keyboard so turning it sideways (especially with the keyboard) is highly frustrating. I prefer your take on the news to other stations but their apps are easier to navigate. Is it possible to make changes as I have not found that option in Settings. Thx

Unable to “share” articles using this app
I’m disappointed in that I was once able to share articles but for some time now have been unable to share articles from this app via the share link. I am not able to share via email, text, social media, etc….
Auto Play Videos
The app needs a setting that will stop auto play of videos. Nothing more annoying than trying to read an article and a video starts playing.
Pop Up
The pop up makes this useless for checking the news. Uninstalled and reinstalled, no change. Guess I'm finished checking the news on Fox Carolina app.
Awful on iPad
Please fix the orientation back for iPad users.
Pickens
Very disappointed in what little coverage you give to Pickens County. You have thousands of people without power and road conditions are are bad and you offer little to no coverage in this area. No wonder why your loosing viewers in this area

The commercials are so annoying when the APP launches.

Current version needs work
This app was once flawless, but alas… they aren’t keeping up. It won’t load the live broadcast easily. Also, it doesn’t seem to have a channel on the Alexa “Stream Player”, though WYFF does at channel 171.

Awful
Ok, I got used to opening the app and having to wait for an ad to play but now the app is just….bad. Videos automatically play and there’s no logic to when that will happen. Intrusive ads if you leave a story and go back to the main page. The new look is slow and the scroll is jumping all over the place. These issues have persisted as you see from other reviews with neither a fix nor even a response from the devs. I uninstalled.

Why portrait on??????
So disappointing not to be able to view like I prefer! I will now be viewing another Greenville station that works for me, not Fox Carolina
Only app that doesn’t work on iPad
They just updated it and it still doesn’t read on iPad (only vertical not horizontal). Only news app that doesn’t. I watch their news on tv but can’t use it on the iPad.
Dropped ap
I dropped Fox Carolina News ap because ads obtrusive. Especially Google ads. Could not get to news.
Bad video control
I don’t want videos to play automatically but there is no setting to stop that, or to automaticity mute them.
Bad Choice
I liked how Fox News screen was. I could find what I wanted to look at quickly. Now you have messed it up and I can't find what I want to read. Make your changes but leave an option so those of us that are old and do not want change can continue to view your new coverage the way we want to. I guess I'll search other broadcasters to see if anyone leaves it simple. Sorry you changed.

The new update makes it harder to read. All of the ads that pop up when you open the app is frustrating. This is a huge thumbs down
