Ads and buggy radar
Have used this app for many years and as of late the amount of ads is quite annoying. I get it, everyone wants ads for revenue and that’s fine. But gosh, I can’t click to any of the tabs without getting one or more ads. We had a thunderstorm coming through and I couldn’t get to the radar without having to watch multiple videos. And not to mention the radar is glitchy at times. I’ve bailed more times than I can count and just looked at the national Fox Weather app. Please fix this overflow of ads.

Ads have killed this app.
I used to love this app for the weather, but recently they’ve added ads on it that just pop up constantly when you’re in the middle of looking at the weather. Time to find another Memphis weather app that’s less frustrating to look at. Do better, Fox13.
Not working on iPad with ios26
I’m taking this app off my iPad! It is not working with the ios26 update!!
Terrible update. Buggy and won’t fully close
Sometimes the video will double on itself with a half second delay. Now the video will not fully close out as a background process even when I swipe to force quit the app.
Had to delete the app, which is too bad because I liked the morning show. Guess I’ll move to another station with a working app.

Duplicate notifications
I hope this update solves duplicate notifications problem. I get 3-4 motivations of the same thing back to back. Other than that, I love it! Keep me informed on all things Memphis and the rest of the world.
livestream not working... again
the "live stream" leaves a LOT to be desired. it's so glitchy it crashes constantly and today it's not working at all. if you're not on xfinity and your livestream isn't working then is anyone even watching you...?
New update
It’s very unorganized, repetitive, & just not a good layout for the mobile app. I’ve completely just stopped using it bc it’s mostly videos. It used to be a choice between videos & articles. The layout is repetitive. Please go back to the old setup.
Force closes / Buggy
Force closes all the time, way too many ads, & can’t stop auto play videos. Seems all around very buggy & poorly implemented.

I have been using the fox 13 app for almost two years now and have always loved it. I'm not sure why they felt the need to update or change it. The new app is extremely visually unappealing and frankly hard to read. It just feels "all over the place" now! There are random news stories across the top, the bottom, the sides... you don't know where to look! They took away the thumbnail images for each story and now the news feed is just one long list of black and white titles. And everything is so randomly placed that you can't tell if you've seen all the latest stories. Before with the old version, you simply scrolled to the bottom and you could clearly see everything. Every news story was in it's own rectangle, with a thumbnail image. This new update is just overwhelming and not very user friendly at all. I hope they will return to the previous format. Until they do, I will be deleting this app.

Politics are for the Liberals here in Memphis because it is a Democratic city . News Stations here will not give the Democrats the truth about what is really happening. Like the kangaroo Court in Washington, the Biden’s coverup, President lying to the American people everyday and how sick he really is and Jill Biden is run and covering up. How close America is getting into war with China, Russia and the Middle East and how close we are to a civil war here in the US.
There is so much news here in our community that reporters will not go after for one reason or another.

I really liked Fox 13 until they decided to unjustly terminate Joey. I’ll be deleting the app and moving over to WMC NBC channel 5 now.

Garbage
I’m not sure why this application is so highly rated. The videos rarely play and typographical errors and jacked up grammar usage —not knowing when to use was vs were —is amusing 😩. It’s a mess.

Fox 13, Memphis sends out notifications, constantly. You tap on a notification only to see commercials that bring in more money to the station. This app is nothing more than a “cash cow” for Cox Media Group‼️
