No way to get CW2
FOX 31 is on any TV, so how to watch CW2 with a silly web browser?

I’m just trying to read the news and the ads have gotten so bad that there’s a “feel free” that pops open multiple times while you read a story. I tried for a few days to scroll without accidentally clicking on it, but it still happens. I think I have had this app as long as I have had an iPhone, so maybe like 17 years and I’m deleting it because I’m tired of having to close windows I didn’t intentionally open. Also, whatever “feel free” is, yeah I’ve heard about it now, but I will never ever buy it if that’s your strategy. I will try again in a month or two and see if it’s fixed.

Bad changes
A recent change made the app randomly select one of the other streams when you open the app instead of going to fox 31 news.
If I wanted to see CW 2 or news (nation,max,or whatever) I would look for their apps.

Live stream is a trial
Was informed that live streaming trial had ended and I would be required to log in through an email link after requesting they send me a one time use link to my email. I tried to remain logged in to watch the 9pm news but was required to log out, request a new email link and log back in through the new link. To many “hoops” to jump through just to watch the news. Have deleted the app off my I pad and will not download it again.

App crashes everyday!
I am writing to report recurring issues with the FOX 31 app on my iPhone. The app crashes consistently whenever I watch a newscast and it transitions to a commercial break. This happens every day without fail. I have confirmed that my internet connection is stable and that other apps function properly, so the issue appears to be specific to the FOX 31 app on iPhone.
In addition, the broadcasts are frequently cut off early for commercials, and when the program returns, it often resumes halfway through a segment. This makes it difficult to follow the news and is becoming increasingly frustrating, especially when I am unable to use my Apple TV, where the app does not experience these problems.

Freezes
App freezes and just shuts off!
Not as happy as I used to be
I constantly get a black screen with “video playback error. Reload” and it stays like that. This used to be a good app. I am tired of removing it and reinstalling it to just get the same results. The constant public service announcements get old too. I know they get funding for their ads but I see those then get the black screen. I got the app for the news. Now I am forced to watch CBS national news.

App crashing
I love this app and never had issues until about a month ago. Now, it is unusable. Every commercial break, as soon as a Fox commercial begins,the app completely crashes/closes. I’ll fight with it for a while and then give up and watch another news channel. So frustrating!
Shut down
The past 2 - 3 weeks the app shuts down after about 5 minutes of play time. Please fix!!
Where is Channel2?
I downloaded this to watch Daybreak on channel 2 and even though I clearly hit the link for that I get Fox 31 News. I would rather watch SpongeBob than Fox 31 morning news. Give me Daybreak back or I’m deleting the app. Same for the iPad version.
Version 500.9.0 keeps crashing when it’s opened
When opening app version 500.9.0 on MacBook Pro it keeps crashing.
I would quickly upgrade to 5* if you could cast or airplay the video
I finally downloaded the app today because I would much rather watch local news that terribly unentertaining women’s basketball coverage. I was happy I was still about to watch my local news team instead. But forced to watch it only on my iPad? Please add casting or airplay capabilities for sharing video to compatible devices.

Hides important stories in favor of sports or months old stories
Today I got a notification about a series of shootings in the highways. when I tapped it, not only was I not taken to the story, that story wasn’t even listed on the home page. I had to dig around to find it.
The front page had lots of stories about sports ball, and even a 2 month old story about avoiding Christmas scams. it’s February, a story about shootings on the highway should rank a little higher than garbage Christmas pieces!
Basically, this app has serious technical and editorial issues.

So cluttered up with ads it’s hardly usable
I used to like this app before it got so slow and cluttered up with ads. Now , every space on screen is an advertisement that blocks the ability to easily read the news they are publishing . Worthless news app now that not usable.
App gets worse and worse
The iPhone app gets worse and worse: 1st barely any news. 2nd the headlines are smaller than a snowflake falling from the sky. I just don’t know why I keep this app

Ads take over making app useless
Demands you buy subscription to read articles. Ads go full screen making this app useless. Too bad as I wanted a local TV station source for local news.
Could be 5 stars
App would be 5 stars if an ad didn’t pop up the moment you open it. Ad must be closed before you can read any news. Frustrating and inconvenient
