Too many ads

I used to love this app but now it plays a two minute ad every time I click on a different section, like hourly forecast or daily forecast. It’s so bothersome that I had to delete it.

Why does a weather app need pushed ads to check the weather. Good thing there is no weather warnings as I may never make it to shelter since I have to watch an ad first.
