About

Fractal Atlas is a fast, deep, no-nonsense fractal viewer. Pinch, drag, and zoom into the Mandelbrot set and 21 other fractal types, rendered on the GPU in real time — no loading spinners, no low-res previews that sharpen up later. Explore: • 22 fractal types across two families: 12 escape-time fractals (Mandelbrot, Burning Ship, Tricorn, Multibrot, Phoenix, four named Julia sets, Newton, Sierpinski carpet and gasket) and 10 geometric pattern fractals (Koch snowflake, Pythagoras tree, Dragon curve, Hilbert curve, Gosper curve, Sierpinski arrowhead and triangle, Barnsley fern, Lévy C curve, Vicsek fractal) • Genuine deep zoom: perturbation-based rendering keeps detail sharp far past where ordinary double-precision fractal viewers break down into blocky noise • A live dual view: open a Julia set side-by-side with the Mandelbrot point that generates it, and watch it change as you move • 12 built-in colormaps, from classic Inferno and Viridis to high-contrast Turbo and Glacier • "Surprise me" teleport to a curated set of striking locations when you don't know where to start • Save any view as an image, or share a link that reopens to the exact same coordinates and settings No accounts, no ads, no data collection.
