Thanks for the thoughtful questions, they're fair, and they deserved better answers than we'd published, so we've added a Trust & Safety section to the app's FAQ. The short version: Spritz is operated by Spritz Marketplace LLC, a registered US company based in Connecticut. All payments are processed by Stripe, card details never touch our servers, and on authenticated orders your card isn't charged until the item actually ships. Authentication is available on every order (on by default for items $30+): the seller ships to us first, we physically inspect the bottle, batch codes, and packaging, and only then forward it to you. If it fails, you're refunded in full automatically. Sellers can't receive a payout without passing Stripe's identity verification, SSN and, where required, government photo ID, plus a verified card on file, backed by a strike system and permanent bans for counterfeits. Every delivery also carries a dispute window reviewed by our team. We're a young marketplace earning our track record one order at a time.
