When my client leaves a comment it takes them to 0:00 and the comment goes to 0:00 not the time code… defeating the purpose of frame.
Previously:
1: once you leave a comment on iPhone, you cannot watch the video horizontally again
2: no way to view comments sorted by time code instead of recency

The iOS app has gotten 10x better since being upgraded to the latest version of Frame. Love that it supports so many native iOS features like drag-and-drop, share sheet, multi-window on iPad, etc. Highly recommend!

Gets Worse Every year
I don’t know what made frame.io so bad. maybe it’s layoffs and corporate greed or AI generated garbage code, but this app and the service continues to get worse every month. the bugs keep stacking up you cannot upload content and you cannot rely on it for client work. I would say avoid.
Keeps saying no on a team
The app used to work great, and then you guys turned it into trash. Now it’s a dysfunctional app
Slow and UI needs improvement
As others have mentioned it’s an incredibly slow upload process. The UI is super confusing too. When uploading videos is a key task this app is designed for, why does it take me 3 clicks to get started? Not sure we’ll keep this solution.

In the last year, we’ve increased the reliability of our upload process and reduced the median time for each file upload to complete. We’ve added support for uploads to continue when the app is backgrounded and to start uploads from other apps on your phone. We’d love your help to continue improving uploads. Every update to frame gets worse. The share features are terrible. We use this because it’s the industry standard, but they are clearly not looking at or respecting the feedback from its users. Classic example of something that you used to be good but got too big and too many cooks in the kitchen.

Useless app for me
I am sent demo screeners by filmmakers in Frame.io format. When I click on the link, there are basically two options: “watch in the app - it’s much better in the app” or “watch now”. If I click on “watch in the app” (because it’s so much better in the app), the app opens and… the thing I was trying to watch isn’t there.

What is this pricing structure
So you’re telling me, if I want to store footage in frame I have to pay $15 a month, and then for every person I share this project to that wants to download it, it’s another $15 per person a month. This is insane
Adobe is making it worse
Ever since Adobe bought frame Io it seems like there’s been more attention given to the integration of the service into their other platforms instead of the stability of this mobile experience that they pioneer years ago. I just tried to upload videos from the Files app to the program which should be a home run for this and it failed every part of the process making this application useless and making me want to use the web version as I’m hoping that works better.
