FramerCut is a focused workspace for custom picture framers who want the artwork, mat stack, glazing, backing, moulding, and rounding choices for each job in one place. SET UP THE JOB Record a job number, customer, due date, artwork size, unit, and notes. Build a multi-layer mat stack with independent borders, overlaps, reveals, and colors. Add moulding face width, rabbet lip, fit allowance, saw kerf, waste, glazing clearance, and backing clearance. Enter inches as decimals or common fractions, or work in millimeters. Calculations retain precision until the final display rounding you select. SEE EVERY CUT The dimension workbench calculates mat windows, outer sizes, lower-layer reveals, glass and backing dimensions, rabbet seat, sight opening, outside long points, and estimated moulding stock. Warnings flag nonpositive openings and questionable clearances. Inputs, results, units, and rounding rules are saved in a snapshot, so later edits do not rewrite an earlier cut card. A DRAFT mark remains until you confirm the measurements. PDF CUT CARD Create a landscape Letter PDF with a dimension diagram, artwork size, each mat opening and border, reveals, glass and backing sizes, rabbet and sight dimensions, long points, quantities, units, kerf, allowance, rounding, and operator checks. Preview and export through the iOS share sheet. Local backup and restore are available through Files. OFFLINE AND ACCOUNT-FREE FramerCut works without an internet connection or account. It has no server sync, ads, analytics SDK, or external AI service. Jobs stay on the device; you choose where exported PDFs and backups go. SEVEN DAYS, THEN ONE PURCHASE Use all features for seven days after first launch. When that period ends, creating or editing jobs and generating new PDFs are locked. You can always view or delete existing records and export a backup. A one-time $9.99 non-consumable in-app purchase permanently unlocks those features. Restore Purchases remains available.
