Search settings and choose whether the app starts on Today or Map. A CLEARER RADAR MAP Animate radar, keep your selected location visible above rain overlays, and explore advanced weather layers in Storm Desk. OFFICIAL ALERTS AND CLEAR SOURCES Read National Weather Service watches, warnings and advisories for your places. Source names and observation times help you understand how current the information is. Forecasts and modeled estimates are identified separately from observations. MAKE IT YOURS Use your current location with permission, save other places, choose alert sounds, and keep your preferences through updates. Air-quality and nearby river-gauge information add context where available. Background cloud notifications while the app is closed are not enabled in this release. FrankWeather is donation-supported software. It is not an official emergency-alert source. For life-threatening weather, rely on Wireless Emergency Alerts, NOAA Weather Radio and local officials.
