Favorite watch magazine, but unfinished app
I really enjoy the content within the app, but the app itself needs some work:
- badly functioning picture viewer
- no search
- no dark mode

app was not working, now it is
The app was not working for several weeks, but now somehow content starts showing again. Overall a great app if it’s working.

Home page rarely loads
App is pretty worthless for viewing news content—it won’t load 99% of the time. Not what I expected from the Fratello team.
Serious issues with app
Like a prior reviewer App stopped displaying news or any content other than shopping. Tried deleting and reinstalling with same problem. Tried logging out but can’t log back in—error message. Exact same result on iPad and iPhone. Fratello website works fine.

Used it a lot until recently - no content anymore
I used this app regularly, re-read bookmarked articles and explored the wide variety of Fratello articles. Worked almost perfect, besides sometimes forgetting login-credentials or bookmarked articles.

App routinely doesn’t pull content down
App routinely doesn’t pull content down, even after deleting and reinstalling. On multiple devices. It is functionally useless.
Broken
Not articles and logins fail with nslurldomain errors. Previously worked well although the top first photo was always cut off in odd ways.

The app is dead. Not content showing anymore.
Needs major overhaul
Fratello is my go-to source, but the app needs some major improvements: needs a better search function that’s not tied to the brands and needs to be less buggy. Frequently the app will simply not display any articles or any of my saved articles. I’ve tried signing out and back in, and even deleting and redownloading the app. Currently, I’m not even able to sign back into my app (NSURLErrorDomain error - 1011). Otherwise, Fratello itself is a standout service; I am a big fan of its journalism, both articles and podcasts.

Poor user experience
Viewing photos within articles and then attempting to return to the text always throws you out to the homepage and you lose your place in the article. However if the photo was part of a group, returning works as expected. No ability to scan through gallery of photos in the article.
Constantly have to keep logging in. To the point where you can't be bothered to contribute to comments.
In-line interface to add a new comment is ungainly and very easy to trigger by mistake as you scroll down through the comments.
In general this all adds up to a very frustrating experience and the team at Fratello have known of these issues for at least two years (reported in article comments and team member responded on first report).

I love this app BUT.....
I love this app BUT I have one qualm...how do you share the articles? I feel like it is my job to share the goodness of these articles and spread the love of watches. Can we add a share option? Thank you and keep up the GREAT work!
Appreciated but lacks important functions
Dear Fratello team, I increasingly appreciate your content and your openness to your "fratelli"!
However, what I am missing in your App is
- a search function;
- a podcast tab.
If such things exist and I didn't find it, well that would be another issue ;-)

Finally available as an app. Would love to see it expanded even further, but solid first step.
A must have for watch lovers
You don’t have to be a watch nerd or a Speedytuesday only fan, loving watches or being interested in is enough and this app will make it easier to get the information and news. Great be see you soon in the watch community 👍 igloe
