Alarms won’t turn off
I’ve used this app for almost ten years now and have to delete it to get the alarms to stop reactivating no matter how may times you solve the puzzles and turn them off they just keep going or will have a random pop up in the middle of the puzzle that will cause you to restart the entire puzzle from the beginning I can’t recommend this app which is sad to see

The Best but has a Major Glitch
Freaky Alarm is the only app that has worked to get me up. The app is persistent and not easy to bypass. The feature that allows you to take a picture of something in your house is great, because i have to physically get up after several annoying puzzles.
However, it has a glitch, where as soon as I complete all the puzzles, the alarm rings over and over again. The only way I was able to get it to stop ringing was actually to delete the app.

Alarme qui ne sonne pas…
J’ai acheter cette appli le concept est incroyable, mais bon vous vous douter bien que si derrière l’alarme ne sonne pas il n’y a 0 intérêts j’ai tout essayer : pas de mode ne pas déranger, pas de silencieux, page ouverte sur mon téléphone, son à fond etc… Rien ne marche l’alarme ne sonne pas, c’est bien dommage parce que le concept avais l’air incroyable limite révolutionnaire mais bon. Garder vos 1,99€ l’appli ne fonctionne pas.

the app keeps ringing and asking me to solve riddles after I have solved all games and disarmed the clock already several times. Very buggy.
And then why force us to accept many violent sounds (machine guns, hijacking alarm..) when one sound could be enough, that's a mystery.
I uninstalled it despite having purchased it. I cannot recommend.

App needs update
Alarms keep going off after you solve the puzzles multiple times. Even if you exit the app.
Please Update to be Compatible with Current iOS
I love this app, it’s literally the only thing I have found that helps me get out of bed but it keeps going off after I’ve solved the puzzle.
Bug in current version
Latest version of this app per App Store was born 4 years ago. Since roughly iOS version 17 (read: Oct 2024) the alarms won’t stop and adhere to their schedules once you resolve the puzzle but will go off again within minutes if not seconds. The only ‘workaround’ is to go into the app menu and reset all alarms. Dev needs to address this ‘bug’ which seems to be some incompatibility with newer iOSes. I was a bit disappointed that after months of this occurring and many complaints and lowered ratings the dev hasn’t corrected the issue. It is a nice app in every regard but doesn’t seem to be kept current.

Good alarm but needs fixing
This is a good alarm for me because it’s persistent and annoying, which is necessary for me to get up. However it has started going off repeatedly even when I have resolved it. So I go through all the steps to turn it off and then it immediately goes off again. This continues on and on and on! I contacted support and the only help that they gave me was to hit reset, reschedule and then reschedule alarms. If I am even a little sleepy I can’t do this fast enough because it resumes going off only ten seconds after I have resolved it. I was hoping that was a temporary fix while they solved something on their end but it has been months and I still have to do this. Even if I sleep through it because I accidentally left it on silent and it tells me I missed the alarm it will still go off again if I don’t do this. I am tried of racing to reschedule every single time!! This needs to be fixed.

Used to like it
Even though I didn’t like some of the sounds, it was an effective alarm, however, since I updated my phone to iOS 11, it doesn’t always go off and then it keeps going off, even if I have done all the things to turn it off. After going through it 6 times this morning, and even turning my phone off and on, I deleted it.

Loved It for 5 Days, Day 6 Ruined It
Everything was great until this morning. Alarm will not stop repeatedly going off.
Loved it, now it’s ruined
I am a long time user who bought this app. I had always been able to rely on it to get me up even when it was more resurrection than waking up. However iOS 18 has caused the app to never shut off. I have tried the developers options of resetting etc but it simply doesn’t work. Very sad, I wish the dev would correct whatever is causing the malfunction, but for now, stay away.

Had to uninstall
Newest iOS, no matter how many times you solve it resets and goes off again. Only fix I found is uninstalling the app. Essentially it’s broken in its current form.
Broken in iOS 18
Used this for years and loved it, but with iOS 18 alarms just go off over and over.
Good alarm
For some reason after you complete the questions, and shut the alarms off, it keeps coming back and you have to answer the questions multiple times. Please fix !

After solving and closing, the alarm will continue. Only way seems to be to delete the app.
Ignore headphones setting
This afternoon when I woke up I realised that the ignore headphones setting doesn’t ignore Bluetooth headphones leading it to be this afternoon that I woke up rather than the morning.
Great concept but misses the mark
Great concept but I didn’t realize until after I purchased that you have to leave your phone open or the app open which is terrible for so many reasons. I reallllllllly wanted to write a happy review! Ugh!
Need a way around lock screen
I was so excited for this app and it even worked initially. But i have to keep my phone password locked for work and privacy regulations, and i quickly became clear i could not be trusted to remember to change my settings every-night and every morning. So i had to stop using. Please find a way around this.
