Not user friendly
We are long term print and online subscribers. We get the Standard’s Daily Update. Unfortunately logging in is often impossible. A verification code or link is emailed but after entering the number, the newspaper comes up for a brief moment then directs us to login again. This circular process continues. More often than not I am not able to access the paper In todays Update, I wanted to read about the change in city council meetings. After 5 attempt following the instructions I still can not access and/or am blocked. Sometimes a Dialogue box states”have exceeded allowed articles”. Very frustrating.

Why have a newspaper App is the first page shows news from June 20,2017 and the current date is April 2, 2021!!!!! SERIOUSLY why bother! If I could give it a negative rating I would.

Hate it!
Why do I have to sign in every time I open the app even though I have a paid membership? And to make it worse I have to jump through hoops to get signed in by y’all’s stupid “magic link” email…..every single time I open the app. To make it even worse is that I can’t actually sign into the app; when I click on an article to read it I’m taken to the website within the app where I have to sign in again over and over again. This method of having to use a “magic link” to sign in through the app and through the website on browser rather it be on a mobile devise or on a computer, has ruined y’all’s digital newspaper! In the past I could just log into my account online or the app and read the paper in its digital version that looks just like the print version; however when y’all switched to the “magic link” it ruined any possible enjoyable digital experience you currently offer for paying customers. Please go back to the old digital option!

Needs improvement
This app is a start for the newspaper. However there is no option for paying subscribers to log in and view the current paper. If you click on an article it will take you to the website and will make you log in again, which in my opinion defeats the purpose of downloading the app.
I also wish the app included the pdf version of the newspaper instead of select articles links.

Usually doesn’t work
This app is basically worthless. It usually doesn’t work. Even the “magic link” only works occasionally. Fix it or return to the prior digital option.
Close to useless
Buy the paper version if you want complete content & a decent reading experience

It’s not worth the time to download. It’s seldom updated and mostly ads. Very disappointed.
