I do not like the scroll at the top. I accidentally will open a story I do not want. Just let them be in a list like the rest of the stories.

Too bad - the Fredericksburg Free Lance Star went from an award - winning paper to a news rag with a $$$ price tag. Too bad for all.

Biased Reporting
FLS should stick to local reporting. It seems the reporters are incapable of presenting both sides of any political debate and is clearly biased to the left. Management should have realized a long time ago that the majority of the local population skews right and that is why your subscribers have left.

Stalling
My patience gets thinner with this app when it got upgrading a few months ago. It keeps stalling at each click. Also subscribe another newspapers, runs excellent compares to this junk app! I use my tablet.
More ads and less news
I subscribe to the FLS. The app now runs more ads, including 15-30 second unskippable ads, while the actual news content seems to be decreasing.
Ads & No Sharing
Even after I login there are ads and its missing a key feature: you can’t share articles - there’s just a Home icon. So what’s the value of the app?
Pathetic
Recurring problem where clicking on a news article gets you nothing but ads. Local content is pretty thin and primarily looks like whatever they can scrap off local government website or some local business’s press release. I signed up for a trial membership but I don’t think I will renew when the time comes.

Subscription? NOT!
I've been reading news on app for a long time, not anymore! I will not pay for news when you can get it free online. Sign in doesn't work. Total crap! One star is too much.

What a joke... 3 articles?
I WAS an avid reader of the FLS. But due to the restriction of 3 articles I will be finding my local news elsewhere. I refuse to pay for something that once was a free app. With all of the pop-up adds you would think that would take care of costs. Guess not. Shame on you Freelance Star... This is a real disservice to your once loyal readers.

Only Three Articles?
I can only read three articles on the app then it says I've reached my limit. I understand the paper needs to make money of course, but they have advertisements that pop up on the app so I thought that would take care of it. I do like FLS though. Good local news.
