If this app is free, then why do I have to put my card information in? Free means free!

The fact that a multitude of most universal tv remotes can be found under the price of $10-$15 makes this app and others like it,
JUST ASININE in thinking that someone would want to pay a recurring daily, weekly, monthly and/or yearly bill. I get that you want to make money but a one time price should suffice instead of a wasteful subscription. I’ll just stick to manually using an actual tv remote instead of assisting your company with this foolery.

I thought it was free
I keep trying to find a free remote app and then i saw this one, it said free so i got it and I only made a few clicks and it said start a free trial. Whats the point of making an app that says free but it isnt?
