Despite re-installing this app it still does not connect to its server so is completely useless. Such a shame as it used to be excellent.

Rubbish app
Shows no planes anywhere. Just had a Typhoon fly over the house. Radar shows nothing! Waste of time loading

Just Doesn’t Work
Doesn’t recognise my location or show any nearby aircraft
Unreliable
It is fine when working, but it's something of a lottery to get it working. You can see multiple aircraft in the sky, but Freedar shows none, civilian or military. Yes, it's free, but that's irrelevant if it doesn't work.
No longer works
It has had its glitches over time but it was okay. Now it no longer appears to work. Just get an error message.
Lost the love
Me and my husband are huge fans of Freedar but we have not had the ability to click to see information on planes as it goes blank and you have to go out of the ap to come back in again. However. We know and appreciate everyone working on Freedar does so in their free time without pay.

Will not connect over 4g
This app used to work well and I could use it for identifying any aircraft flying overhead. Now I just keep being asked to click the “verify I’m not a robot” button and nothing… Only works over Wi-Fi, a bit useless for using when at an airport threshold
No longer opens
Since iOS 16.5.2 this app no longer works. Gets stuck on the checking you are human page.
Worked fine then white screen issue
The app worked fine for a few months without any issues with the exception of occasional freezing. But from two days ago when I open the app, all I get is a white screen saying that it is verifying the security of my connection, with a cloudfair tick box to prove I’m not a bot. On clicking this it goes through a cycle of assessment and then back to the same screen over and over.
I have deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times and have the same result. I’ll keep trying for a day then I’ll delete for good

I have been using it for a few years and it has been flawless on both my iPhone and iPad. Five stars for the iPhone version. One star for the iPad version. The latest update requires iOS 14.0.x and above. I am unable to access it on my iPad Air2. Since Thursday morning [01/06/2023] I launch it and screen goes white for a second, then returns to the applications screen. I have de-installed it and re-installed it. The App Store prompts me to install the last known compatible version [which I have done] and does the same as above.
I have logged an incident with the support team and are looking into it.
The iPad version was perfect as you are viewing a bigger display screen.
