Very easy to use
Long time customer
I’ve been with Freedom for over 20 years. Good people in the branches, decent website that rarely goes down, excellent response time to questions on the phone or in the app. Freedom is part of the credit union system that allows transactions at other atms with no fees, they refund every dime you are charged. Loans easy to apply for online or in person- I’ve financed many things with them; rates are competitive. Very satisfied with Freedom CU.

Online banking
Online banking is real quick and easy until you get locked out. I got locked out because my password was too short, but it was OK when I first signed up so that was very nerve-racking but otherwise I love online baking.

yea this app basically goes down every week for “service” but nothing ever changes. app laggy and slow. dont try to open this app at 1am on a saturday night itll probably be down.

I’ve been you Freedom Credit Union for a long time. Staff are every on your bank complaints immediately. I love to hear that they are so quick and very personal with your account. NEVER had a problem because they notified me before a problem accrues. I’m very grateful that they are my bank so thank you for everything that you do.!

Charging fees for transfer
If my checking account is linked to my savings account, why do you charge me $7 dollars for overdraft fees? I have over 3k in my savings!!

I have been with Freedom for 50 years (previously Telephone workers credit union). Have had car loans, mortgages savings and checking accounts. The customer service is exceptional. Thanks for many years of safe banking.

Easy to use
The app makes banking, simple and easy. I use it all the time.
Why go to any other institution
They have it all, they have what you want, they have who need.
Error
It often says something went wrong and I can’t login
Difficult to use
Payments on my used car loan are proving difficult to navigate, because of the unnecessary steps to fund the payments. (ex.) you have to deposit money in your main share, and wait a week! Before you can make a simple payment. You should be able to pay the used car loan payment from all funding sources.!

Really bad
This is a very shoddy and dated mobile website wrapped in an “app” whose sole function is to use a biometric login. Everything else is the same as the website. It’s honestly a horrible experience.
