About
Play with the interfaces of your day—or fly through an entire world of them.
Freefall combines a native-control physics playground with Tangent, a colorful orbit-and-release arcade game. Built for iPhone and iPad, it keeps familiar buttons, sliders, switches, pickers and other iOS controls interactive while turning them into things to explore.
DROP, DRAG AND THROW
Choose from ten Playground layouts. Tap Drop, toss controls into the open sky and watch them tumble back. Tilt and shake your device to move the pile, change themes during play, or reset for another round. A faint golden glow hides a one-time shower of extra controls.
CLAIM THE CURVE
In Tangent, hold open space to orbit a nearby control and release to fly along the tangent. Dotted guides show your anticipated path. Compete with three on-device computer pilots: collect sparks, claim full orbits, steal territory and cut a rival's active tail. Arcade rounds give each pilot three lives and up to 90 seconds. Chrono nodes freeze time for scouting, and Prism Paws grants 30 seconds as an invincible original rainbow pastry cat.
FORTY MAPS, REAL-WORLD INSPIRATION
Explore thirty varied arcade maps and ten offline Open Map Tours, from Venice and Stockholm to the Thames, New York, Golden Gate Bay and Everest. Pastel geography and original 2.5D landmark dioramas add depth while flight stays on a 2D plane. Latch separate glass ports around towers, ridges and a playful theme-park castle. Tours offer three minutes without elimination: bumps cost points, and landmark orbits earn passport stamps.
YOUR MOOD, YOUR SPACE
Playground offers five themes, from dark glass to retro comic colors and soft pastels. Tangent has Daylight, Midnight and Retro Pop. Enjoy full-screen Playground play, portrait and landscape support, extra native elements on iPad, optional synthesized sound and local best scores.
Freefall works offline with no accounts, ads or in-app purchases. Sample browser, camera, music, message, file and terminal controls are local demonstrations: they do not access those real services or run terminal commands. Computer pilots use local game logic, not an AI service. The app does not request your location. Open-map geography is stylized for play, not navigation, and includes OpenStreetMap attribution and an exportable ODbL database.
