There are numerous phrases to learn but as far as typing in either the English or French and then seeing the translation with variations, definitions, etc., this is NOT that app.
Not actually helpful
Can’t see what you’re searching in the search bar- text is invisible or same color as background. Phrase searches don’t work. Not helpful.

More than half the words I needed were not in this dictionary

Great app!
This app has proved invaluable in my study of the French language. I’m learning French from a French language course, but it contains no written material. As a visual learner, I need to see the language written, and this app has helped tremendously. It was SO worth the money.
Not helpful
Not very helpful if you need a translator to help you with travelling. Most common words and phrases I needed were not contained within this app.
