Great easy app for French translation
I’ve loved using this app for several years now, whenever I travel to France. I mostly use the dictionary, which is both simple and complete. I never find myself stumped as to the meaning of signs, notices, or programs.

This is a very compact app which is particularly useful for intermediate students of French. It also allows cross reference to more comprehensive definitions if required. The dictionary and translation features are the most useful. In the more recent iteration, advertisements have become more prominent, which rarely pleases users. There is a complex £ $ € calculus between advertising, cost of app and product satisfaction / uptake.

Premium is not that expensive
I mean 29 aud for a year ads free is pretty good for me, i’m on academic study so i use it a lot for book translation n conjugation

I have used this app for several years and value it. No single app does everything, however the dictionary, pronunciation and translation are very good. The verb declinations are extensive but I find their use limited because unfamiliar with the classification system, I don’t know the equivalent in my own language. Therefore parallel translations would be perfect. Then 5⭐️ Also the ability to resize the window would enable the app to be open whist using another window

I started learning French using this. Enjoyed it to the point that I want to buy the paid version of this app w full access. Just confused which is the premium version, is it one on the app store having one time payment or the yearly subscription in in-app purchase? What’s the difference?

Dark Mode? No Way To Change To A Female Voice
There’s no way to switch to Dark Mode. The light background bothers my eyes. The male voice is irritating and he speaks too fast. I want a female voice instead and the ability to adjust the pitch, volume and tone of the voice. There’s no way to do any of this, either.
