Generally reliable
I’ve found this useful, and the pronunciation feature is helpful, with some caveats: (1) while you can look up a verb by its infinitive and get the conjugations (without pronunciations), it would be nice to be able to look up directly by conjugated verb and have IPA / audio for each form; (2) the dictionary collapses different possible ‘a’ pronunciations, so pâte and patte and pas are all the same. While the latter practice matches a real trend, at the same time they preserve the disappearing un/in distinction too, so it seems a little inconsistent.

Where is the zoom?
Did you remove the zoom feature which allowed the user to enlarge the text? If so, please put it back.

Generally very useful. But I found one error recently: Clicking Plaire in French goes to “Paire à” not “Plaire”

Unnecessary extra steps to see search results
When I search for a word in English, for example “wholesale,” the results are hidden until I select adjective, noun, adverb. I just want to see everything pertaining to this word! Please don’t make me go forward and back and forward and back until I find the definition that I need. It’s really inconvenient, and for me it’s a dealbreaker on this app.

D’un point de vue des défauts:
1. Ce dictionnaire ne contient pas toutes les transcriptions phonétiques et sa serait bien d’inclure aussi la pronciation américaine.
2. Je trouve qu’il n’y a pas assez de vocabulaire ou de phrases d’exemples.
3. On ne peut pas zoomer.
4. On ne peut supprimer individuellement un terme ou une expression dans l’historique il fauttout vider obligatoirement
5. On ne peut pas copier-coller,.
6. Et on n’a pas accès à la liste par ordre alphabétique mais peut-être c’est pour des raisons commerciales vis à vis des versions papiers.

Update bookmark
Please update the bookmark to create a folder and category, now bookmark is saved alphabetically. When I bookmark a lot of word is not usable.
No translator?
If you have an online dictionary that costs money but your free website has a translator and your dictionary that costs money doesn’t but your dictionary is more accessible, shouldn’t there be a translator included with your app? Just a small question because I use both and I’m very peeved to find that. But then again, your translator is really slow anyways, so it maybe wouldn’t make technological sense. I don’t know much about that, but it’s definitely possible to add a translator to your app and I think a lot of users would find it super cool. A translator and a dictionary go really well together because textbooks don’t always have all the words and it’s nice to type a sentence in and see if it makes the sense you think it does. I mean if not a translator maybe like a tips and tricks tab with a search bar for grammar rules and stuff. For example if someone has trouble using indirect object pronouns, they could look that up with a description, tutorial video, examples. I know I know it’s just a dictionary and honestly your really poorly rated $11 app could just be gone and you could upcharge this one a bit if you added some cooler features. Just an idea. Us Americans don’t really have foreign language education integrated into our culture, unfortunately, so this online access is super useful to a lot of people. Thanks for everything Larousse!

Even if it were free it’s still not good.
This app is less user-friendly, less helpful and requires more key-strokes than the free apps I have been using. The last straw was when I couldn’t even enlarge the screen when the print was small. I was taken in by the Larousse name and now completely regret the purchase.
Pratique, rapide et sans connexion
J’avais la version précédente, toujours le même plaisir d’avoir ce dictionnaire d’anglais toujours accessible, l’ajout du guide de conversation est un vrai plus en voyage même si pour le moment je voyage moins ;) !
