Great, modern replacement for Anki

I was looking for something to replace Anki (which is outdated). This is it. A phenomenal flashcard app. Very easy to use, one time payment, responsive developer, and possibility to use shortcuts to create cards on the go. I recommend.

Great App and developer

Great app and very responsive developer- really appreciated

Used to be useful before “Upgrade”

What used to be an elegant and simple tool has been upgraded to include unnecessary complications rendering unusable - off to find a better product.

New release issues

Some cards show blank when flipped. Need a fix for this.

Let me rollback to v2 — update 3.0 broke my workflow and is overall ugly

Version 3.0 made my workflow unusable. I import cards with custom html with fields and custom validation logic to verify myself dynamically. One side — html, another — answer.

However, after update card list preview displays html code, and when I flick through the cards, it sometimes decides to show back of the cards first — which is none-sense. Before those updates my workflow was perfectly fine, but now it’s all messed up.

Amazing Flashcard App

Tried so many of the flashcard apps available for OS and IOS. Fresh Cards is the one I stuck with. One of the very few that allows direct copy and paste of screenshots (most flashcard apps only permit the uploading of images which causes friction when you want to simply copy and paste from a pdf you are annotating).

- Also permits tags, as well as Markdown.

- The other awesome feature is that Fresh Cards gives you the ability to include links in your cards so you can directly reference and jump to the pdf or website that you made the card from. A well done app!

Great flashcard app

I use this daily and really enjoy the design and functionality.

Right to the spot

The app does what it must, one time payment, icloud sync for free.
I support that so much, even apple short cut compatible !

What a wonderful App

Been one of the customers since the first version and have let this little app sit for a while to use more complex systems but in its current version it would be a crime not to use it. I love the design, it’s so cool. It works perfectly well with mixed characters for my Hokkien language deck (special diacritics installed through custom keyboard, Chinese characters and western alphabet together).

Perfect app

Great iOS & Mac app for studying. It’s feature rich, updates come regularly, and the developer is responsive. Must buy.

Just fantastic

Perfect UX, nice aesthetics, good pricing, and works in unison with macOS app… what more to ask for?

LOVED IT.

I have tried a dozen of flash card for Mac and iPhone, and this one is the best. Try it, you’ll love it.

- One thing I think it would be better if the window to TYPE TEXT IN (when editing card) can bigger, ideally half of the screen.
- Also, I hope I can put some desks into one folder and can set a theme for each desk/ folder (by adding picture).

NICE, NICE, NICE. Thank you for such a beautiful app. Excellent jobs.

Better home page design needed

Best flash card app for iOS! Synchronizes seamlessly with Mac. Purchased immediately. The home page design could be more in line with Apple’s design, but otherwise, it’s awesome.

Amazing App - Exciting Roadmap

This is the app I was looking for. Intuitive interface, enjoyable design, seamless syncing with iCloud, one-time purchase, match cards, etc. I’ve read the roadmap, and I’m already excited for upcoming features!

Difficult to use if you have vision problems

There is no way to change the font size display while editing/organizing, and in order to see any font customizations through markdown or HTML, you have to be actively doing a lesson, which makes this app difficult to use for someone with even mild vision disabilities. I really wanted to like this because I appreciate that the developers charge a one-time cost instead of a subscription model, but I can't really use it, so I regret paying for it. I guess it's fine as long as your eyes are young and perfectly healthy.

4 stars for now but an option is needed

Update*** we need the option to log in other devices other than on Apple devices. A website for example, so we can use this on all computers other than MacBooks.

Will rate 5 stars it's just this 1 issue. Thanks

The one!

I checked out a number flashcard apps. This is simple to use, non-subscription, and more than meets my needs. I love the auto reading of text feature and the ability to add audio files. I happily paid for the app. I think it’s important to support excellent developers.

Excellent App

This is a great flash card app. Easy to use. Love the auto speaking of text feature and ability to add audio. No subscription required. I happily paid for it. They are incredibly responsive to feature requests.

Beautiful but lacking export options

I really wanted to like this app, as the UI design is beautiful and the UX seamless. The import options are great, but it only exports to its own fresh card format. So i can't use it with other flash card programs, say on windows. This is a deakbreaker for me.
