Easy peasy

The Fresh Food Connect app masked it so easy to donate my extra produce! It takes me less than 2 minutes to schedule and it lets me know when it gets picked up and arrives! I wish picking peaches and plums were so easy!

Super helpful

I love how easy it is to find a local place to donate our extra produce. Helps me ensure that it will not go to waste and hopefully will brighten someone else’s day.

App issue 2024

Unable to upload photo so not allowed to submit. I tried every way several times and could not make it work. Love the program. App is poor. Drop the requires photos!

Easy way to donate extra produce

The app makes it super easy to donate all the extra garden goodies to folks who could use it. Bonus that pickup is available in some neighborhoods!

Easy to make a difference

It’s helpful because not all places near me accept fresh produce. I’m glad I can make sure my extra fruits and veggies go where they’re needed most.

I love this so much!!!

I love gardening, but with just three of us at home now, I grow way more than we can eat. This app makes it so easy to schedule a local drop off of my weekly harvest.

App doesn’t work

When this app was first released a few years ago, I tried to sign up but the app didn’t work. Thought I’d give Fresh Food Connect another try as a gardener. Got through the donate process until the app instructed me to select a day and time. I could see the days of the week in a column on the left and AM & PM in a row heading two columns to the right. But I could not select a day or time; nothing happened. I give up again. Deleted app, and will compost excess garden produce.

Great way to contribute to my community!

I love sharing my backyard produce, and knowing it goes to those in my neighborhood who need it most. The app makes it easy! I know it helps the hunger relief organization in my area to go through the app, too. Even small donations make a big difference.

Love the concept but needs work

The app is pretty buggy and glitchy. Links to the FFC website and my local partner go in circles. There’s no way to edit pending donations. Tracking donations to friends/family takes the user out of the app and to a web form- why?

I tried to submit this feedback in the app itself and I got an ‘insufficient permissions’ error. So while I love the concept I think the app needs more dev support to regularly address known issues and make improvements. Thanks for doing what you do.

Love this app!

I just signed up for it last week and it is so easy to schedule a pick up and feel good knowing your excess is going to someone else that needs it and can help them! Recommending to everyone!
