Will not let me renew subscription

On iPhone can’t renew subscription

Snow Totals are for the whole year

Why would any ski report have snow from the previous season! This makes this report useless except for daily snow.

Terrible

They keep charging me and I don’t want the service!

Expensive!

$20 a year! For information that is found a ton of other places for free. Just selecting your season pass is hidden behind pay wall. No thank you! Uninstalled!

Unreliable

In my brief experience, this app gives unreliable information. For instance, I received an alert this morning that indicated Wolf Creek had received 69” in the past 24 hours so I went on the internet to check the snow report on Wolf Creek’s own website.......it indicated that not only had they not received 69” over the past 24 hours but they also were not reporting any new snow fall over the past 7 days ! Similarly, according to the app, Steamboat has been getting snow every day but again, when I check the report on Steamboat’s website, the information simply doesn’t align. I don’t use the tracker so can’t comment on that.

Response from developer

Sorry you had this issue. We had a one time problem that sprang up with Wolf Creek today that we have fixed it. The steamboat information looks to coincide with their site. Again I apologize and hope you’ll try our app out on a different day. We pride ourselves on having very accurate information and you shouldn’t have any issues going forward.

Disappointed

All the necessary information is available EXCEPT for the depth of the base. Had I known this was not included, I would not have purchased.

App won’t even open

Crashes about a second after it shows the splash screen, tried downloading it twice.

Response from developer

Sorry that happened. Our last release had a bug that crashed for iOS 12 users but we've got it fixed now. Hope you'll give us a try and let us know what you think!

Almost...perfect..just one thing.

This app is perfect, totally would have given it 5 stars. The only issue I have is with device support/compatibility. It might also be an issue on my part, but a good amount of people still have devices on iOS 10 and that is what my phone runs on. Now my iPad runs in iOS 13, so that was how I was able to review this app.

Keep up the great work!

Good Ap

I like the accuracy but would like to better see the resorts I’m interested in.

Response from developer

Email me at jeremiah@avalancheapps.com and let me know what you'd like to see. We are always adding new features and want to know what is important to you.

Worthless

Standing in a snow storm with 10” fresh powder on the mountain, the app said 0” the last 24 hours. I checked it the next morning after it snowed all day and it still said 0” the last 24 hours. It’s worthless.

Response from developer

I’m sorry our data didn’t match what you saw on the mountain but hope you had an awesome powder day! We pull our snowfall data directly from the from what each resort reports and have the best snowfall data available for Colorado. I would love to track down the issue you are seeing. Please contact me at jeremiah@avalancheapps.com with more information and I can see if there is an issue specific to your app or that resort.

Lacks utility and is expensive to link to pass

I have both the Epic and Ikon passes. I use the EpicMix pass for visits to Epic resorts. I was hoping this app could give me the same features when using my Ikon pass at Colorado resorts, or, better yet, allow me to use this app for both passes when skiing Colorado. However, this app lacks the maps and lift guides I find so useful on the EpicMix app, and while it will allow me to link my Ikon pass to the app, I must pay $19.99 yearly to do so, while on the EpicMix app linking is free. Further, it appears that I can only link one pass. Given this, this app is not a great option for me.

Very expensive. Only gives info you can get for free

This is a limited scope review, because I did not pay the huge price, so maybe, if I did, some miracle would occur and it'd be worthwhile. If I had, and still was this unimpressed, I'd give it two stars, but it doesn't seem fair to knock their average down that far without a real try

I found on several websites all the weather and snow info this app seems to offer. For free.

Other than that, it doesn't know anything about the individual area. Telling you what vert must be pretty useless (if you can make it work; I started it, but nothing got recorded).

Poor features

No features for the subscition and ikon pass wish I had not subscribed waste of money

Multiple passes

I know this is an unusual thing to do, but I have both the epic and the ikon pass for the 2018-2019 season. This app seems to only let me choose one pass. Will there be a feature be added soon to add multiple? Thanks!

Waste of time!

If you're trying to enter your season pass or see what the snow report is for a single resort, you're out of luck. You will take get anything unless you pay.

Response from developer

You can see the snow report for any resort on the Resorts tab including the 7 day forecast, 24/48 hour snowfall, and additional information all free. If there is something missing that you'd like to see let us know! It is a paid feature to filter our recommendation engine by setting your pass. We've worked hard on this and it is something you can't find anywhere else. Hope you have an awesome season on the slopes!

Awesome

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for!

Awesome

Works great. Season pass integration is very convenient.

Great app but paid even with your season pass

Great app, super functional, shows exactly the info I need, and has an accurate count and distance of downhill time. Would be five starts if I didn’t have to pay just to attach my season pass I already paid for....

Broken

Broken as a doorstop as of 3/29/18. I recommend OpenSnow if you're looking for something that actually works for the end of the season.

In January the app displayed inaccurate snow totals, fixed after couple weeks. At least they're good at responding to app reviews, ha! I'd be mad if I sprung for a season pass with these jokers.

I like the idea of the "today's pick" widget that features mountains with new snow.

Other wishes: Would like the ability to favorite/follow favorite resorts, and missing trail maps which can be handy when on the mountain.
