People use VPN’s way too much on this app. You can’t trust where people are from and it’s been this way for years with no signs if a desire to fix it. Searching near you is impossible. What’s the point of a dating app if you can never go on a date because the guy is really across the planet? Software constantly crashes. Needs rewriting desperately.

Can’t get perks
I am very disappointed in fridae now. I paid for one year of perks a couple of weeks ago. But my paid benefits have not begun. Fridae should either start giving me the paid benefits, or give me a refund.
Buggy
Would give more stars if I didn't have to have two attempts at signing in each time. The first attempt just hangs on a wheel of death and then I have to wait a while before the second attempt, which connects.
The other fault is that the distances are wildly inaccurate. Not everyone is using a VPN to spoof their location but I still see people "94" Km away who turn out to be the other side of the world. Fix the bugs and I might just sign up for a perks account.

Scammers
Too many scammers on Fridae! Even after I filed a complaint against the scam accounts created by the same scammer. Fridae still approved this scammer of using my photo in his profile. I reported that scammer a few days ago, but now I still haven’t heard from Fridae yet! The scammer is still using my photo right now while I am writing this review! As a 10-year-old loyal Fridae user. I am very disappointed! Sometimes I wonder if the Fridae admin is working with the scammers? Why are there so many scammers? You literally see scammers on fridae every single day!

When I block someone on app , they still keep send me heart and message.
FRIDAE long term membership
I have been with FRIDAE as a perks member for many years however competitive other sites have readily outclassed FRIDAE with free package options that provide more now. I still keep in touch with FRIDAE friends but no longer use the perks function as there is no incentive vs rewards for long term member / contributors. So many members tell me they rarely visit now. That is sad.

another outdated, horribly unmanaged site.
The profiles, and photos that had been posted over 2 decades past, i wouldn’t be surprised to find out that many members with posted profiles have been deceased for the past decade (yes that’s how old these profile and photos are).
There is no moderator or simple, system to verify and update member activity (for a pulse)!
This platform is nothing but a graveyard with profiles which serve as tombstones to illustrate those that we’re once alive.

What’s the purpose of popping up the sign in?
As if I have a public device we have a line of people need to use this device to sign to see their hearts?!! It’s my phone! I use alone! I sign in once I don’t need to be ask again and again!
Lack of Perks
I signed up and paid for perks but have yet to be able to get it connected. It should be automatically given when you pay

It does not let me create a profile when I put in a username is says username taken and I’ve tried changing it and putting random usernames like just “zkdns” and it keeps saying username already exists

The locator function does not work properly. If I reset the location the same men appear.
Doesn’t work.
I have a feeling it’s the AT&T network, but all I get is “Failed to start session.” It never logs me in and hence is unusable.
