I so wanted this to work

When I press to bring up settings' a copy button appears and nothing else. I really need an easy lightweight solution to show a site hosted internal to my network (ip address url) without the navigation bar.

Thank you, this app is perfect!

I needed an app that was free, worked on iOS 10, hid the status bar, and refreshed every few minutes and this app did all of that. I wanted to thank you for creating this app! I would highly recommend this app to anyone with an older iOS device that they are looking to use as a kiosk, however, if you have a newer device I would suggest a different app. In summary, this app is great for older iOS devices and lets you do the bare basics (which is what I needed for my use case, nothing more, nothing less)

Basic functionality but works great!

Works well even on latest iOS 12! Saved me from a big headache today replacing an ancient iPad that was a lot easier to lock down than the newer ones lol Thank you!!! 😁

Fake App

I accidentally downloaded this instead of Freeosk.

All this app does is has a screen that says, “Welcome to Friosk”
“Touch and hold here to bring up Settings”

Of course nothing happens and I am pretty sure that’s just a picture, not an interface.

Reporting this to Apple as a potential security threat.

Response from developer

I think I understand the source of confusion: the other app you’re referring to, which I didn’t know existed until now, serves an entirely different and unrelated purpose. Friosk is a web kiosk. Hold your finger on the lower left hand corner (as specified in the startup instructions) to bring up the settings screen. From there, you can specify the URL of a website you’d like to display in Friosk. After you’ve satisfied yourself that the application performs the task it’s advertised to do, I ask that you amend or delete your review. Thanks!
