September 11, 2026

EXIF: a new template that prints your photograph's own camera information over it. Aperture, shutter, ISO and lens rack into place like a viewfinder coming to rest, then the shutter fires. Whatever your file doesn't carry simply isn't shown, and a photo with no camera information says so. Celeb cards now cut between several photos, or between moments lifted from a video, and each photo keeps its own framing. Swatch takes several photos too, one colour arc each, every photo bringing its own palette. You can lead with a monthly-dump title card, and the preview no longer freezes while it reads your photo. Puzzle can cut its board from the photo it sits on, so one photo is enough instead of a pair. Classic's first template is now called No Crop, and framing stays with its photo when you delete or reorder.

Limited use

Only works a few times before you have to buy a subscription. This is not mentioned on the store page or in the app as far as I can see.

Leaves a thin outline on the output image

This works fine, but when I output the image, it leaves a thin white outline around my photo, which is disappointing after I paid for a one year access. I tried setting all the background and border colors to black. It previews fine, but when I save the file and open it in photos, it’s still there and I can’t fix it. It would be nice if you could update the app to fix this bug. Same thing happens when I set it to a white background, only then it is a dark grey hairline
