App is awesome!
I loved this app. It was a perfect tool for teaching kids in our homeschool co-op science class and was a very much loved app by my 3 year old daughter. She is now 5 and really wants to play with the app again. Wish it was updated to iOS 11.
Waste of money
No sound which makes it worthless to me because my three year old loves the app but she can't read yet.

This is an awesome app on frog. Depth of content is awesome and is fun with various module. Kids have loved it.
Nice animations
Its a high quality app. Interactivity is nice and pretty close to the real thing. I like how the narration tells you what to do it really feels like you're in an operating room.
Amazing features!
This is a great buy! It is packed with awesome features like the games and videos along with interactive views of the organs, diagrams and so much more! I can't wait to use this in my classroom and I wish they had this when I was in school so I wouldn't have had to color all those sheets!

We are a homeschool family and I love this app. There is so much material, explanations, and video. You can also manipulate the internal organs with your hands so you can see all sides. This works perfect to go along with biology class but. Y 10yr old also likes it, and it is easy enough for him to, understand. I would

Wonderful
So useful. This really is a hands on app. I love it especially for my highly sensitive gifted students who are not mature enough to deal with this in a actual setting. This is a humane and inexpensive way to help all students learn.

Great app, but too many updates!
I have had this app for quite a while, and it seems to have updates very frequently. This last update, with 3D view, is useful, but not major. When the app is nearly 300MB, please try and keep the updates to important ones - or save them all for infrequent updates.

Educational and fun
No more messy, smelly trays! Anyone can dissect and explore the anatomy of a frog. Children from four to thirteen have enjoyed cutting, pinning, and learning about frogs on my iPad. One father was so impressed that he hurried up and bought it for his young son. As a teacher in a world of shrinking budgets that allow us to share fewer and fewer hands on experiences with our students, this app provides a worth he next best thing.

Fabulous for Science
What We Liked:
If you are at all interested in incorporating a study of frogs into your science studies this year, you won’t want to miss Frog Dissection. SO much more than dissection is included in the app (though that of course, is really neat!) While much of the anatomical information is written at a junior to senior high level, even my young children like to dissect the frog – the audio instructions make it easy, watch the videos, and explore the interactive activities.
This is a very comprehensive app when it comes to frogs. I learned quite a bit about them that I never knew before. There is really a wealth of information included in this app, you could easily use it as the core of a frog unit study. I love how it provides a ‘hands-on’ experience to help cement learning by dissecting the frog step-by-step and through the ability to rotate the organs, slide through the life cycle, and interact with the digestive and respiratory system.
The art and videos are all very well done – the frog isn’t lifelike enough to REALLY give you the willies while it’s being dissected, and neither are the organs – they’re all obviously computer generated, but…that can be a good thing sometimes! Everything in this app is very professionally presented – it’s just top notch.
When I showed my mother (still homeschooling my little brother) this app, she was amazed. She’s been considering buying an iPad and this app alone almost threw her over the edge – it’s that good.
What We Didn’t Like:
Not a dislike necessarily, but it would be nice if the app was set up for multiple users in the quiz section (it keeps track of scores, but if you have several children it can’t differentiate between them). Also, some sort of search function would be very helpful for looking up specific information about frogs within the app.
Overall:
If dissecting a frog is part of the requirements for your students in high school biology – this app will save you the trouble of hunting down a stinky dead frog for a lab. Even if your children don’t NEED to dissect a frog and just want to learn more about frog anatomy, live cycles, or anatomy, you’ll want to buy Frog Dissection.

Basic step-by-step
I expected more freedom- you have to follow the dotted lines with the various tools in a boring and easy way. I was expecting freedom to cut it up however you want- I suppose that would be impossible though.

If I were a Bio teacher, I would get this app for my class IMMEDIATELY! It is really helpful and great! I learned a lot about anatomy in just a few minuets exploring this app! Dissection isn't the only thing it can do, either. It also has animated videos showing things like the frog life cycle and how they eat, as well as interactive quizzes, info about the different species of frogs, lots of picture- enhanced and interesting info, and instructions on how to do a dissection on a real frog. If this company released more high school level educational apps, I would buy them in a heartbeat.
