Habe die App vor Jahren für Geld gekauft und kann diese nun nicht mehr nutzen, weil plötzlich ein Account verlangt wird, bei dem man sich auch nicht anmelden kann. FRECHHEIT!!! Nicht mal mehr einen Stern mehr wert!

App stopped working
I bought this app in 2018 or 2019 when it came out for full price on the App Store. Now, when I open it it asked me for a user ID and password. I imagine it wants me to buy it again. This is the problem with buying apps from certain companies, it’s not like a book, you never know whether you still own it.

Esta aplicación dejó de funcionar y es una lástima, me resultaba súper útil para mis clases. Quiere entrar, me pide que me registre y es imposible hacerlo. Espero que solucionen el problema.

Die App vor einigen Jahren gekauft, verlangt sie nun Anmeldedaten, z.B. Telefonnummern. Selbst wenn man sich dazu bereit erklärt, diesen Unsinn mitzumachen, kommen keine Anmeldedaten an. Es ist völlig absurd, warum eine solche App Daten braucht/ einen Account benötigt. Wenn es um Datenvermarktung und Gewinnorientierung geht: Ich habe als Kunde bereits für diese App bezahlt! Nun ist sie unbrauchbar.

Leider nicht mehr benutzbar
Habe die App vor 7 Jahren gekauft. War echt spitze. Jetzt muss man sich einloggen, leider funktioniert das nicht und nachvollziehbar ist es auch nicht,warum dies nachträglich bei einer gekauften App nötig ist.
Da wir für die Schule 20 Lizenzen gekauft haben sind jetzt 100 Euro einfach unbrauchbar. Ich rate definitiv von einem Kauf ab!

What’s going on with the overly invasive data collection?
You can’t use the app without location! What’s my location going to do with dissecting a frog? Then you have to register an account with email or phone number. Why? and you can’t actually sign up because the OTP only last 10 seconds! it took longer than that for the email to reach my inbox.

Ich kann mich nur anschließen. Hab Geld bezahlt für einen digitalen Frosch. Und nun muss man sich nachträglich registrieren, um zum bezahlten Content zu kommen. Unverschämt und nicht zu unterstützen. Solchen verbrecherischen Methoden müsste jede Existenzgrundlage entzogen werden.

The application does not start, only the text "fetching location" is displayed and only a blank screen remains. Position tracking is enabled. How can I request a refund?

Ich habe die Apps Froggipedia, Brainapse und Plantale immer sehr gerne im Unterricht eingesetzt.
Nach Jahren wurden die Apps dahingehend geändert, dass man sich nun mit Kontaktdaten anmelden muss. Weshalb Embibe meine Telefonnummer brauch, erschließt sich mir nicht.
Ich dachte mir, sei es drum. Ich melde mich trotzdem an, da ich die Apps wirklich stark finde. Aber Pustekuchen! Anmeldung aus welchen Gründen auch immer nicht möglich!
Ich habe den Embibe-Support kontaktiert, aber KEINE Antwort erhalten. Ich fühle mich betrogen.

Why are you creepy?
The app at first glance seemed to have great reviews, I love frogs sense they are apart of nature everywhere you go, I was excited about being ahead of the frog dissection an research that I participate in at my school, I also like to rescue frogs with a few other selected individuals and keep them in a small tank while they recover,
I bought this app for 3.99, when I opened the app though it asked if I wanted notifications, normal right? Then it asked if I would like to share my location and I respond with “Don’t allow” then before I get into the app it asks me again if I would like to share my location, saying it would help with my experience in the game, when the game is all about frog dissecting, life style, species, and more! I shouldn’t need to share my location, that is SOOOO creepy, never recommend this, I didn’t even open the app and I already had problems😡, not worth the money, I am requesting a refund as we speak!
