Bias Moderation

Extremely bias in moderating content and does not adhere to the agreements they set forth with users. Just because it’s local, doesn’t mean it’s better. You can se from their unprofessional response in which they try to blame me for targeted moderation. Unlike the people they referenced, I still have my account. I simply don’t use it because I find them to be purposefully bias as an organization. Thus, I have no interest in furthering the agenda.

Community city

Yo this app is AMAZINGGGG. I always have questions and I always think oh wow let me check front porch forum and then boom I go there and my question immediately gets answered. Like thank you for creating community! THAT IS WHAT WE NEEEEEED!!!!

Clean, simple app for connecting with neighbors in Vermont

This app doesn't do everything, but that's the point. It works really well for reading updates from neighbors, posting to your forum, and searching the directory in calendar. It's straightforward and useful.

Nasty

They have an unbelievable, political agenda!
Anybody who doesn’t agree with them is automatically blocked!

Oh no! Recent updates ruined user experience!

I have loved using this app on my iPad for years! But I just updated with the June updates, and the new layout is awful :-(

One of the biggest benefits of reading FPF on the iPad has been the wide, clear, uncluttered layout. In this new version, the posts are shoved into a much narrower column on the left, accompanied by a very distracting and “bulbous” column of ads on the right. Ick!

Also, I miss being able to see the buttons for other issues all the way across the top. Now they’re both bigger (and “bulbous”), but also don’t reach all the way across the screen.

Dear FPF developers, please contact me if you’d like some screenshots. I’m on an iPad mini 5.

A Huge FPF Fan, but not enjoying the update

I have been an avid FPF user for a long time but the recent update to what seems to be using web views hosted in the app is not really a great experience like it used to be.

Response from developer

Hello MehEhhhMeh. Your statement above is false. Our family-owned small business makes all content moderation decisions based on our nonpartisan Terms of Use. That said, we have had to close some member accounts of people who repeatedly break our simple rules (e.g., no personal attacks, nothing illegal, etc.).

So easy to navigate!

I love using the FPF app - it’s especially great for easy photo upload when I’m selling or giving away an item.

Love the app. Just wish one thing.

I wish that in the app you could select and copy things from peoples posts not just the entire post. But the app works great.

It’s great

This app is great overall.

Excellent work!

This app on my iPad is so great! So many useful new functions, and very intuitive. Even using three little birdies at the top left instead of those boring 3 dots to indicate an additional functional menu was genius at work.

I can’t wait to add the app onto all my Android devices!
