Game over even with 3 lives?

I got to level 16, but then it said game over because I ran out of time. But I had 3 hearts/lives left. Why didn’t it take a life and let me keep going? It’s an ok game otherwise, but if lives don’t do anything then that’s a game-breaking issue. I deleted it after this.

This is a fun twist on the match genre. I love seeing how far I can get. I especially appreciate that you can leave at any time and it saves exactly where you left off. Great premium price too for no ads. Great job!

Schön, daß es mein Lieblings Match 3 - Spiel jetzt auch ohne Werbung gibt. Man will gar nicht mehr aufhören, aber der Spielstand wird gespeichert, so daß man am nächsten Tag weiter machen kann.
