About

Fry WiFi helps you understand why a connection feels slow, unstable, or just wrong. Instead of showing only a speed number, it checks the parts of the path your iPhone or iPad can measure and turns them into a clear diagnosis. Use it when a video call breaks up, a game starts lagging, streaming buffers, or public Wi-Fi opens a login page instead of the site you wanted. WHAT FRY WIFI CHECKS • Router and gateway: local latency, jitter, and packet loss. • DNS: whether website lookups are slowing browsing down. • Internet path: whether the wider connection looks healthy. • Speed: adaptive download and upload tests from small probes up to larger runs on fast networks. • Captive portals: warnings when Wi-Fi appears to intercept web traffic. WHY IT'S USEFUL • Quality tiles for Browsing, Streaming, and Cloud Gaming. • Plain-language status, details, and next steps. • Issue history so repeated problems are easier to spot. • Public IPv4 display with one-tap copy. • Shareable Wi-Fi status card for messages, support chats, or social posts. • Optional diagnostics export when you need the raw report. PRIVACY Fry WiFi has no tracking and no third-party analytics SDKs. Measurements are stored locally for app features. Location permission is used only to read the current Wi-Fi network name when iOS allows it; your location is not stored or shared. iOS NOTE iOS does not expose Wi-Fi signal strength, channel, BSSID, or interference data to regular App Store apps. Fry WiFi for iPhone and iPad focuses on what iOS can measure: router reachability, DNS, internet path quality, captive portals, and throughput. Sampling runs while the app is open. Stop guessing. Share a clear connection diagnosis from your iPhone or iPad.
