Saved Files Doesn’t Work

Still have an issue with my “Saved files” features. When I share a file to the app... the file doesn’t load in “saved files”. Can no longer upload documents via FTP, which now makes this app pointless. Please fix ASAP.

Broken and should be taken off App Store

This should be taken off of the App Store. The “Player” function for files simply doesn’t work. The rest is sketchy at best. But, I see where the developer has ANOTHER “Pro” version, where you can spend $9.99… again. Wonderful. What a scam.

Can’t purchase pro

This is probably my favorite ftp app I’ve found, however in order to edit files I have to buy pro, which is fine. But when I try I’m told I have to be connected to the internet. My wifi is on. Please help. I’ll be happy to give five stars if I can get pro.

Linux SFTP Issue

All bookmarks seem to open a connection to a previous single cached location, no way to clear this issue!

Crashes When Trying to Edit

This was a handy little app. However, I recently upgraded my iPad from iOS 7 to iOS 9. The app opens, but when I try to edit a file, the app closes. I noticed a "Pro Upgrade" (for iOS 7!), but it costs an additional $3.99. Time to start looking for a more reliable app. You got my money once, I'm no fool.

UPDATE 7/31/2021: I've been limping along, able to perform simple edits. Today, however, using my iPad6 (iPadOS 14.7.1), I can open a file for editing, I can place the cursor where I want to edit, but when I try to type, the app closes. Upon restarting, the app, it tells me I was editing a file when it closed, and asks if I want to continue. No matter what I do, it always closes when I try to edit. “Upgrade” is now $9.99, but why would anyone thing that it would work any better?

Was ok but now

Keeps crashing every time I try to do something
Was good to start with but now not worth it at all

Tricks into paying in the most misleading way

For an app that calls itself FTP client, it one does not allow for saving any documents. Apparently you have to “activate” the feature which actually means buy the pro version as what you confirm to “active” takes you straight to buy the other app with dialogue box asking to confirm to pay $$$. If not careful you will end up paying when you think you are activating a setting... awful

Current version still broken on iPhone and iPad

Been using this for years, but the latest update has broken it on both platforms.

Crashes as soon as you try typing anything into a file you're editing via FTP on iPad Pro and iPhone 7S/iOS 13.4.1

Hopefully they'll get these fixed soon. No contact info in the app for reporting these bugs that I could find

shareware couldent test it

just a trick to buy junk

Doesn’t work with Dropbox

Was quite good in the past...

Works great. “Copy PDF to Books” option?

The app works great. The only problem I have is that when I want to “Share ...” a saved PDF file, I get the “Open in Books” option but not the “Copy to Books”.

So the book is not added to my Books collection and every time I want to resume reading, I must go back to FTPOnTheGo and open the PDF from there. Can you please fix this?

Good but has a problem

I really like the power of FTP On the Go. But for some of my longer files, it no longer works. If I try to hit return to add a new line in my HTML, or try to paste in more than one line, the app crashes. These are files I maintain with FTP On the Go on my iPad, and on UltraEdit on my PC at home. Cutting and pasting also have a problem, adding a leading space that I have to delete. Another app also adds the leading space; not sure what is going on. But that app at least does not crash.

FTP On The Go - Upgrade

I have been using this app for many, many years, works awesome, thanks!

A needed Update!!!

When you try to edit it locks up close is the whole program!

Impossible to upload images from my iPad

Can upload images from my iPad to my ftp site only once in a while. It seems that OS 12 has problems with this software. I am waiting for a fix from ftp on the go. Is there a workaround?

Crashes

Trying to save from the server results in a crash. Looks like THIS pro version is no longer supported and will force you to make ANOTHER purchase to the latest PRO version. Pretty disappointed. This isn’t the first instance of this since I’ve used the app. Not a fair practice.

No happy

Paid for it once and then you charged me again.
Greedy and poor service.

Saved Files Doesn’t Work

Can’t used “Saved files” features anymore. When I share a file to the app... the file doesn’t load in “saved files”. Can no longer upload documents via FTP, which now makes this app pointless. Please fix ASAP.

Most Valuable and Useful

I’ve been using it for years. It’s always been one of the most useful apps in my toolkit. Even my wife is impressed with it and she doesn’t use it. Let me explain. I maintain her website. She a psychotherapist and I had added a new therapist to her site. She noticed a couple of typos in the new therapist’s biography. So while we waited for our lunch at a restaurant I pulled down the page in question, fixed the typos using the built-in text editor and moved it back to her site. I said, “All fixed.” She was amazed I could do that from our table while we waited. Thanks FTPOnTheGo Pro! It’s things like that that keep me using it.

I had also noticed that the explicit FTPS option had stopped working at some when connecting to my FTP server, even after upgrading the FTP server. I switched over to SFTP in the interim. After getting my new iPhone the other day and upgrading to to the latest version of FTPOnTheGo Pro the explicit FTPS was working again. Thanks! Keep up the good work.

I highly recommend it.

Buggy and wants me to pay again

Not an ironed out app, I bought the pro version previously, now all the pro features are disabled until I pay another £10
