A really good option
This is a fun time if you want to be able to let your kid have an interactive option and to be able to visually see the time passing. You can tell that they actually really care and put a lot of effort into it.
Only goes up to an hour
My son loves this timer but it needs to have a setting that’s longer than an hour!

Best timer
One of the best timer! My child does his work all by himself with the help of Timer. Lot more features could be added. This app drains the battery since screen has to be active. This is the best timer app!

Almost Perfect
This timer is so wonderful for my son with autism who loves everything "outside". I wish the tree would lose all of it's leaves at the end of the cycle. The snail timer on the bottom is so perfect. He seems to spend more time tracking time through the leaves falling and the snail advancing. A great timer!

This is a cute app! I just wish there was an option to have the clock the other way around so that it was similar to an analog clock - in hopes to generalize the skill visually to a clock the child would most likely see in their everyday environment.

I tried this out with my autistic students, and it's a very nice timer, but lacking two features I'm looking for - a pause button, and maintaining the most recent time setting.

Most importantly, it's one of the few kids timers with accurate scale. The "pie" actually starts where it should on a timer face, rather than always showing a 100% pie, and then counting from there.

Maybe TOO cute
This is a wonderful app, and the fact that it's free, that it has both a circular and linear visual timer, and that the timer ends with applause (keeping things positive) are super. However, for little people who need to focus on a task, it's maybe a little too entertaining, even with the bird sounds off. If there were a simpler version of this app with no leaves falling, flowers blooming, or birds moving around, it would be a perfect match for distractible little learners.

Great, w/2 limitations
I work with children with Autism and this timer is great for them. They like the scene and easily understand at least one of the two visuals. I only have two minor complaints. One, there is no option to have the app keep the screen on. I work with one child that gets upset every time my iPad goes into sleep mode and he/she can no longer see the timer. Two, the noises of the birds can be distracting and I wish I could turn those off without turning the the overall volume off.

Love it, love it, love it! I work with young ( K-5) special kids, most severely autistic. This is THE only timer I have found that is motivating. Thank You!
Good for kids who have difficulty with waiting or completing tasks
I like the pictures/animation in this app. The snail travels along the bottom of the screen and you can watch his progress. You can set the timer anywhere from 1-60 minutes. I would give it more stars if it had times under a minute, that would be even more beneficial.
