Eigentlich eine interessante Idee…
… nur dass die Rechenausdrücke nicht als FUNKTIONEN, sondern als FOLGEN ausgewertet werden. Für x wird also nicht die Ordnungszahl der Note im zeitlichen Ablauf, sondern rekursiv das vorausgehende Ergebnis eingesetzt. Wenn man zum Beispiel x^2 als Term hat, lautet das Ergebnis nicht 1, 4, 9, 16 …, sondern 1, 1, 1, 1 … — ist ja nicht schlimm, muss man einfach nur wissen. Funktionen sind deterministisch, rekursive Folgen können schnell unvorhersehbar werden. Vielleicht ist das intendiert. — Mich hätte der Ansatz mit den Funktionen mehr interessiert, deshalb habe ich eine Erstattung beantragt.

Best Sequencer I Never Knew I Needed!!
This app is a complete shock to me. I’m not a math person, but for some reason this way of creating sequences just totally works for me. I get bored very quickly of results with arpeggiators and with all random sequencers. I’ve tried all kinds of approaches to laying down satisfying background sequences and nothing ever satisfies. I can create something deeply satisfying with FuncBud in no time.
The developer is rapidly adding cool new features. Doesn’t need anything at this point, but I’m looking forward to the new surprises awaiting me.
Maybe about once per year an app comes along that vaults to the top of my small list offavorite apps. 2024’s app has arrived.
